I have often thought about this, tampering with the evidence is a no no in my book.
I have heard a Jw explain Jahs possible reason to tamper with the evidence, and it was " If he did not change their languages, they might be able to progress technically so fast that by the time that Jesus was due to be on the Earth, they might have already had video recorders and if they had video recorders they would have recorded Jesus and if they recorded Jesus on video doing these miracles they would not have a need to have "faith" to believe in all these things that the bible says happened. Also they might have started to worship Jesus instead of Jehovah"
That was the reason he gave for Jah tampering with the evidence back at the Tower of Babel.
Of course this same person thinks that Jahs reason for having dinosaurs on the Earth for a while was due to the fact that the vegatation in the Earth would have taken over by the time that Adam and Eve got here.
Another Jewel from the same person was that his beleif was that Man had never REALLY landed on the moon, it wal all a lie and fabricated by the USA, Could not convince him otherwise. Then one day he approaches me and tells me that he has changed his mind on whether or not man landed on the moon since he had read an article in the Watchtower that mentioned "Just as man has landed on the moon,....." So he said that since it was in the Watchtower, it must have happened.

by cedars inafter i posted my last "getting to know you" video where gerrit losch explains his "unique" views on armageddon, a couple of posters mentioned that other similarly controversial comments had been made by gerrit concerning higher education.. well, these comments were actually made in the same recording as the one i used in making the "armageddon" video, so i thought i should make the second video focussing on these.. here it is.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b7drwti-h4.
i realize many heavily indoctrinated publishers will try to defend these remarks by saying that, if it isn't in the society's publications, then gerrit losch's personal opinion is of no particular consequence.
however, the bible says that "out of the heart's abundance the mouth speaks", so by making these videos i hope i am at least showing people what is in the hearts of the men who lead us, and who claim to act as the mouthpiece of the slave class.. .

I was a DC a few years ago when the DO, I believe, shared this experience of the person shooting himself in the head and it helping him with his issues.
My then 9 year old son immediatly turned to us and asked us if we thought that shooting himself in the head would help him also.
Can you spell LIVID ? My wife and I were livid that something so stupid could be shared from the platform. She approached the DO and told him of the thoughts of our 9 year old and how that made us feel. His comment was "I'm sorry for that, but that experience was in the outline"

You know how when you are flying commercially you are told to put the Oxygen mask on yourself first, then you will be able to help the young ones.
Kids are very resilient and can bounce back from this. So don't think all is lost at this point. I would however start recording things the kids say to you and talks with your wife if you can. It might come in handy some day.
Just keep your cool, and also remember that she could be recording you also. So just state facts and how you feel and be very civil with her. She seemed rather cool with that last comment " is that it?" She could be recording you already. Just saying.

The Brother was able to retire within 3 years as he decided it would be okay to renig on his promise and go after the CEO position since it feel within the guidleines of Spiritual Warfare since he would be making a monetary donation to the Mother since they represented Jehovah here on Earth. He now is able to perform casual witnessing at several of the Country Clubs that are usually off limits to our preaching work.

Can the Borg close down a Kingdom Hall because of low attendance?
by Heartofaboy inthe land for our hall was given to the congregation by a local brother.. the contribution box was overflowing with gifts of money from the brothers & sisters in the congregation when they knew we were going to have our 'own' hall at last.. we built it ourselves with help from brothers & sisters that donated their time & skills.
we had a small loan from the borg to help us finish the project & this was paid off very quickly.. that must be 25 years ago now.. we were told by circuit overseers we would be blessed if we had our own hall & that the fine witness would bring many people in to the 'truth'.. it didn't.. we were never a big congregation, however when attendance went down to below 30 a couple of years ago, the circuit overseers wanted to close the hall down.. the elders protested & the hall is still being used.. can the borg close down a kingdom hall they haven't built & keep the proceeds?.
why doesn't it belong to the people that paid for it?.

by smiddy ini just looked to see if this video is still on the official jehovah`s witness website "keep yourselves in gods love " ( deaf and sign language # 22 ) and it is.
notwithstanding whether it is appropiate for signers to be explicit or not, depending on what signage they use, the real question should be, why are the governing body of jehovah`s witnesses so concerned that their members are masturbating or not.it is not an issue in the bible .why are they delving into something that quite frankly does not concern them ?.
