  Two witness rule: Stop using it, its not working on JWs!

  most jws don't see this as a problem.

  they reason that.

  just like the jws, the police will not convict a pedophile over the story of one victim alone, there must be collaborative evidence.

  Legislative action could be a focus of any and all so called clerical privileges are removed and all who have knowledge of a crime against a minor or vulnerable citizen are required to report it.

  Then there is a line down in the sand that can provide no one with an excuse to keep these crimes hidden from authoritie.

  Clearly removing the sin/crime distinction with jws(or any group) is not going to be possible, but holding every elder, parent and any person with knowledge of abuse criminally and civilly liable could change things, especially if the repercussions were severe enough.

  Lloyd Evans' New Book - Is It Really Necessary?

  so lloyd evans will shortly be releasing his new book how to leave the jehovah's witnesses.

  i do enjoy his rebuttals and the stuff he manages to get hold of and leak.

  but i'm struggling to understand what he could possibly write to merit a whole book.. all info on how to leave is right here on this forum.

  I like lloyd and the kooky couple in Az but they are so long winded. I don't usually take the time.

  I love Lloyd because he has an entirely non JW persona, looking scruffy and a bit unwashed. He's not prettying up to us or anyone. I love me a rebel. Just talk faster!

  I like shorter videos and humor is appreciated. The apostate chick should do more, I love her. Lots of ex jws are just boring and still speak and act like jws. I can't hear them droning even when the content might be interesting. Some present as if they are giving a talk. Aaaargghh. I gave up that crap!

  There is not much new to say about anything that hasn’t been said yet, both here, in print, etc. Some of us hear it better or get more insight from one account or storyteller. Repetition is a learning tool for many. This site and all the new YouTube stories, etc-there is nothing new but new people awaken, new mediums, new scandals(ssdd) mean that there will always be new books and stories and newspapers . Why not Lloyd? Or Barbara or pale emperor. Who was speaking of writing one also wasn’t he?

  I’m no longer invested . Seeing my mom after months away. . . Just reminds me of her futility and the waste of her time and efforts . It’s so sad. I have no regrets leaving. All my mistakes are my own and I’m so glad I didn’t sacrifice my life to the parasite religion that would have sucked away the color and the travel and the growth and curiosity and experience of my life. All she can do is tsk tsk about whatever she doesn’t approve of and gossip. Her best friend is honestly this sweet woman, not a JW, much younger who helps her and has her back. She talks bad about her lifestyle (single. Self supporting) but clearly only justifies her friendship because she has consented to go to memorial a few times (nothing else, she is a Christian who isn’t religious but who is a follower of the most basic Christlike stuff-she’s nice). But mom doesn’t recognize the goodness, only commend about her observing holidays and votes in spite of mom preaching at her. For years. She’s hateful to this nice lady who is kind to her

  There are exposes right and left. Australia, Canada , UK, USA. News reports, court cases. No one really seems to give a shit. There are JWs in the airports! No ones talking but that guy sitting there doesn’t care and doesn’t want to know. He has happy family crap sitting on his cart and you know that statistically he is not communicating with at least one member of his family.

  They dont care. Their human consciences have been mutated and perverted. They will give up their lives happily to serve the Borg.

  im so damn sick of it! I want to collectively shake some sense into the lot of them but it was already shaken out completely , apparently.

  A weird nut funny voice in the JW dramas

  many who have been a jw since the 70- 80s remember the jw dramas coming out yearly.. today they are movies but to the topic.... many of the voice actors are the same.. one however is plain odd.. lets list his roles as i remember:.

  How do you deal with people who do not like you?

  hi guysin the last year i have started to socialise a lot more.

  namely comedy and a tennis social club.. for a variety of reasons i find socialising tough.

  in my tennis club a couple of women have been extremely rude to me and i have blocked one from my phone and refuse to speak to both.. is my behaviour extreme?paul.

  I think refusing to be civil is a extreme that demeans those women and makes others uncomfortable around you. We all experienced shunning and felt for the shunnned. Being civil is not pretending anything, it’s polite and part of living in civilization. If they are harassing you blocking their calls is legit and you have no obligation to take any call even if you just don’t like them. But refusing to speak in public is awkward for everyone. Not necessary. You don’t need to extend any warm fuzzies but a lax handshake will send the message without being rude

  I remember all the talk about how we didn’t celebrate he unscriptural Christmas but the decreed remembrance of the death , then quoting scripture about how the day of ones death is better then the day of ones birth and therefore we commemorate the death of Jesus
