Is this water thicker than blood thing on the Friday program? That would be interesting to hear. Sounds as if it is in connection to the Friday morning df daughter who's parents kick out of the house.???

"Life is so hard!...tribulation and problems abound!" Persecution complex of witnesses.....
by stuckinarut2 inthe meeting this week is mind-blowing in the way it fuels the crippling "persecution complex" of witnesses!.
paragraph 1 set the theme with this gem:.
does it shock you that you can expect to face many tribulations before you gain the prize of everlasting life?

Agree 100%! I recently visited an old Jw friend and all they could talk about is how bad the world is. It's like food to these people. They have a beautiful house in one of the nicest neighborhoods in the tri-county area and all they do is bitch.
Sorry for hitting the dislike button. My fat thumbs.

I have no prblems with "new light"
by Doug Mason inthere is nothing wrong with accepting new ideas.
even apostle paul changed his mind when he "saw the light".
indeed, i hope to learn new things every day.

Accepting newlite not only tests the obedience of the sheeple but is also a gauge to see if a person is "keeping in step with the organization."
The chariot has wheels within the wheels so it's zigging and zagging all over the place. Even the bumbling idiots in charge can't keep up anymore.

Recent mistakes of the Governing Body contributing to the decline of JWs
by slimboyfat inthey have made so many strategical mistakes it's hard to keep track.
some changes within the last decade or so that are contributing to declining numbers of jws:.
1. elimination of book study groups, the most informal, enjoyable and sociable of the jw meetings, contributed to loss of sense of community among jws.. 2. policy of consolidating kingdom halls.
-

I wouldn't be surprised if they find a reason to stop publishing the numbers. Any sign of decline would be an obvious sign of lacking Holy Spirit. (unless they spin last days stuff on it)
I wonder how people will react to the November 2016 study Watchtower? Now they can change history??!! It will be interesting to see.🤔

23. Notification by Secular Authorities: From time to time, secular authorities may in-form the elders that a sex offender is living in the area. The notice may provide the address of the individual and may state the nature of his criminal activity. In such a case, the elders should list that address on the appropriate congregation territory card as a “Do Not Call.”
Sounds like the authorities are doing more to protect children than Watchtower.
Putting a molester on the "Do Not Call List" doesn't protect children. They need to be warned. How dumb are they?

The Shunning truth is now out...
by babygirl30 ini have been df'd for 9yrs as of july 31 (yay me!).
so as i have written about previously in other posts, my whole family (parents + sister) made the choice to treat me as if i do not exist, and i have accepted it.
last summer they made a blatant show of it as our family reunion, in that they would walk right by me and not say one word...prompting our extended family to question their actions.
-
Darkknight757
Let us know how they respond please.
I'm sorry your family is treating you this way. Hopefully this shunning video will hit home with people and they can finally see how dangerous the JW religion is.

Rank & file are seeing the money-grubbing
by Zoos inspoke with a fellow apostate from my own area.
she and i bailed out about the same time and kept in touch.. she used to do secular work with one of the local elders in his cleaning business until she got dfed.
this same elder was one of the more profound dickheads on my reinstatement committee, before i turned around two years later and daed.. business required her to contact the elder on behalf of an old client.

At my former hall the big money grab shocked many into donating less each month. This coupled with the realization that a new hall was NOT coming made the monthly bills hard to pay before I left.
I remember them having to do a few local needs parts on the importance of donating specifically to the local Kingdom Hall. There were months that wealthy elders had to make a sizable donation to keep their end of the bills payed.
The doubling of the monthly "forever loan" didn't help either.

Sanchy's critique: Nov 2016 Watchtower Study Articles
by Sanchy inwhat follows is my critique of the two final study articles from the november 2016 watchtower.
the articles titles are: "called out of the darkness" and "they broke free from false religion".. article: called out of the darkness.
parr 1. in 607 b.c.e., a massive babylonian army under the command of king nebuchadnezzar ii invaded the city of jerusalem.. .

Great critique!! This article just makes no sense. I've only been in the org 20 years and clearly remember there being a time of near inactivity for the Borg. To change history now makes no sense unless they want to test the loyalty of the current sheeple. And then to say the the book, "Finished Mystery" was any kind of spiritual light is just retarded. That book is a complete joke, void of anything beneficial to a Borg member today.
edit: Then the endnote: no words for that but WAT??????

CONGREGATION FLEECING RESULTS?
by The Searcher inhow much did your congregation and its bank account get taken for?
share your horror story!.

Darkknight757
We had a deal with a few congregation who took out loans to help build/purchase a building for a new Hall. In total there was $450,000 in the bank as well as monthly donation promises. Some people even took out personal loans for $10,000 to get the ball rolling.
Then....... Well you all know what happened. Last I heard there is no word of a hall coming to the area. I think it's great!!! Not great that people lossed so much money but that people were so pissed that many have been dropping off the radar after that coupled with the new crappy meeting format. The hall I was at previously is in desperate need of repair but they can't get funds to do them because the LDC won't give the money, ( even know they took almost .5 million) and they can't save enough to get the funds due to the $5000 trick. They currently were paying an $800 monthly "loan" payment for work worldwide which was nearly double they had payed before the new arrangement .
