  so the wife and i were uninvited to another jw get together which we didn't want to go to anyways.

  finally we find out that something on my facebook account is getting some people's in my old halls undies in a bunch.

  so i was thinking of meeting with them to at least clear my wife's name and give them some much needed hell.

  So I was thinking of meeting with them to at least clear my wife's name and give them some much needed hell. I know these people don't have any power over us but I kinda feel like if I let loose on them maybe I can finally close the door on this chapter in our lives once and for all.

  Welcome.

  I love their claim that the Bible is scientifically accurate. Have them explain Genesis 1:9-14 which says that on the third creative day God made the green vegetation and on the fourth creative day, God made the sun.

  Watchtower I believe still holds that the creative days were 7000 years or so long. So how does green vegetation survive in a climate without the sun? A tree can live roughly 6 months with no sun, not 7000 years. How can green vegetation form without sun to begin with?

  It's a wonder that the Elders with children don't see how hypocritical this is."Sure we'll call the police if someone vandalized a Kingdumb Hell or bugs us while engaging in the Failed Ministry but not when a child is molested or an adult is raped."

  there are a few youtube videos of people partaking of the bread and the wine and then making some grand speech before being escorted off the premises.

  instead of that, has anyone tried getting a group of buddies together and when receiving the bread or the wine, just eat or drink it all?

  Considering the number of victims this organization turns over it would seem justified in some cases to "give it back" as it were.

  I would say even engaging them on the street would feed their persecution complex so what can a person do to open these people's eyes to how silly they are? It's hard to learn the truth about "The Lie", then sit idle waiting for it to collapse.

  In the back of my mind I was thinking that. Anything to bring on the persecution complex the dumbs have would be counter productive. Although I would love to see the look on their face if they couldn't complete the memorial because of a lack of bread and wine.

  Instead of that, has anyone tried getting a group of buddies together and when receiving the bread or the wine, just eat or drink it all? Just empty the plate or the cup. And if they have extra and refill the plate, have someone else in another row do the same thing. Have friends pickled throughout the hall that are willing to empty the plate or the cup.

  Now I imaging that by doing so that person would be escorted off the premises, so there would have to be a few people sitting throughout willing to do it.

  I don't know, just a thought.

  What Were Your Elders Real World Jobs?

  we all know that education is severely demonized in this religion.

  and that the elders are appointed based on how many meetings they attend, hours they put in on the ministry and general attitude to other elders (as apposed to, you know, actual theological training and counseling) - so my question is, what were your elders occupations outside the kingdom hall?.

  in my old congregation our elders consisted of:.

  Most were auto workers or machinists. One owned several rental properties. Another was a fire chief. And the oldest elder I swear by his dress was a pimp.
