Can we all collaborate and write an alternate parody script for this?
I have the technology to do a quality recording and sync it up with the video.
so last night they played the convention cartoon.
there were a few laughs from the audience, overall though people seemed a little taken aback and tight lipped.
like no one gushed about it afterwards, no applause, just like it was nothing new at all.

For those of you who missed it when Atlantis posted it:
according to this article, a recent pew research concluded that until 2050, an estimated cumulative net number of 65.050.000 will opt out of the christian faith, and the trend is accelerating.
on the other hand, the "unaffiliated" will have a net growth of 61.490.000.. eden.
it's hard enough for businesses to enter these areas the government once had to offer up tax breaks to service them.
in watts, california it took decades for city residents to get a grocery store after the thugs burned their businesses to the ground.
you can see the insanity taking place, when you allow mobs and fools to burn building down nothing good comes from it.
Why are figures and statistics never quoted? That a whole whopping 130ish black people died at hands of police last year and around 180+ more white people? But thousands of thug on thug deaths.

so, not long ago i've told you guys how one of my only two jw friends saw my comment against the borg and called me about it.
well, the little fraker also called the elders to tell on me.
i know i've been a huge idiot for posting a comment about jw's on facebook, but nonetheless i did it and what's happened, happened.. two idiot elders came all the way from the nearest congo, 30 miles away to talk to me about it.
Back in 2007 the elders I knew after I exited the cult in 2003- drove 80 miles - from over an hour and a half away to come interrogate me...
What happens in the situation that you look through your peephole when the knock, and just completely ignore them? Do they keep coming back? How many more times will they come back if you keep ignoring their knocks?
I understand if it's a judicial committee you can't ignore them unless you want to be DF, but if it's just a couple of elders, why do people even open their doors to them if they're faded?

And where do you get a 99% figure?
That 99% figure is a semi-educated guess. I don't have time to look up statistics. Maybe it's closer to 90%.
What I'm saying is that most of the time, the reason a confrontation occurs is because the person was doing something shady to begin with.
But you can be assured that what gets press coverage is only the most sensational or unique of the incidents.
I'm not saying there's not a systemic problem with abuse of authority amongst police. There is.
So, like I said, Karma goes both ways. What goes around comes around for both the police AND the criminals.
Take as an example, Rodney King. Yes, the police were horrible in their treatment of him. But do you think that incident would have happened in the first place if he had decided to take a cab instead of driving drunk and leading police on a high-speed chase?
People need to take responsibility for their own actions - whether they be police or otherwise.

Village Idiot: The law of Karma works both ways. Yes, the police are having to deal with this rioting because of what they did.
But also, for all the individuals gunned down by police, beaten up by police, etc. one thing remains constant: 99% of them were in that position because of their actions outside the rules of society.
By all means, condemn the police for criminal actions and abuse of authority.
But do not dismiss the fact that the victim would not have been in that position to begin with if he had decided not to break the law and exploit other victims.

PS: Yes I know I'm making another post when I said I wouldn't, but please, people, don't defend idiotic cry babies throwing a tantrum and destroying private property.
You know why you never see rioting in Texas after injustices like this take place here? Because private property owners here have guns and use them. And you know what? When there is an injustice here, it usually gets taken care of through the proper channels - or the guy gets ostracized by the entire community and ends up having to leave town in disgrace.

Other than this single post, I refuse to participate further in this discussion because it is so maddening.
You know, if you don't break the law, the likelihood of your having hostile contact with the police goes down considerably.
To paraphrase Jim Carrey in Liar Liar: "STOP BREAKING THE LAW, A$$HOLES."
so, the anti-gmo movement scored another victory today.
chipotle has opted to only use non-gmo food items.. hooray for them.
i'm pretty neutral on the subject, mostly because, other than questionable treatment of farmers, i have seen no evidence to avoid gmo's for health reasons.. basically, my neutrality boils down to the stance that i'll buy non-gmo, so long as the price is reasonable.
lady bugs for a farm trying to make a profit?
That's like the JFK magic bullet.
