I agree with you, and regarding my college education: thank you. I'm studying petroleum engineering. Please don't judge, it was the best option for me in my country.

DJS and the others: Can you please tell me which part of my post made you think that I don't accept evolutionism as a fact?
What I was trying to say is that I noticed a tendency of not respecting others' beleifs I'm an engineering student, I'm familiar with the methods and logic. After reading some posts around here I got this impression that there is no room for those who have other views.

Jam used a popular cliche in the title, but that doesn't conclude that he thinks Armageddon must be coming because Hawaii police officers now can have sex with prostitutes. Some people here are doing what they despise the most: making up rules about how one should think about certain things. Should we ignore every bad news now, because caring about morality means that you are still a brainwashed jw?

I don't think creationists got it right, but I truly am starting to see that many evolutionists are just as arrogant and ignorant as creationists and other beleivers. Let them live their life and beleive what they want to.
It's the mere fact that many evolutionists and the media tres to make everyone accept their theories is what irritates me. Especially about the formation of planets, the Moon etc.... theories and "maybe"s upon "maybe"s, yet they say you are stupid and ignorant if you have other views. I'd bet that 50% of what we know today will be either proved wrong or altered.
I hope somebody understands my point.

Those quotes from the magazines are absolutely priceless. I love them the most in comparison to other means of reasoning as it's like using their own weapon against them. I'm looking forward to try to apply your suggestions and thanks for your contribution to this thread. I hope it also helps other readers of the forum.

What was the most rebellious thing you did while you were a devout jw?
by DuvanMuvan ini was just thinking about how humans being imperfect and satan's influence was the root of everything bad that anyone has ever done.
well i know that apparently everyone is vulnerable which got me thinking about what "bad" things people have done while they were a jw.
i'll start it off.

@Dismissing servant: Great, till now I thought it's the borg's fault that I can't manage to get dates, but your experience suggests that I can't blame the folks from Brooklyn for my antisocial personality. Now, it's either my parents' fault or only mine. Anyway, I think you got it by now that I'm ***king envy you!
As an answer to the question being discussed, I can't recall any wrongdoings I commited during the years that I was in darkness.
