Oh come on Found Sheep, that was just unfair. Who wouldn't help a poor children who was just struck by a vehicle? Your question implies an assumption that witnesses let people die without blinking an eye. Let's not try to use any situation to blame them. The kids too should have been more careful. Streets are not for skateboarding purposes.

WITNESSES FEAR THE TRUTH - WIKIPEDIA
by The Searcher inevery time i submit the following update to wikipeda - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/kingdom_hall#funding - some poor deluded individual/s keeps deleting.. i wonder who it could be?????????.
"as of may 2014, the funding of kingdom hall construction around the world has changed, as per the instructions of the governing body's letter to all congregations, downloadable from this link - http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/279067/1/2014-03-29-boe-confidentials-pdf-adjustment-to-financing-kingdom-hall-and-assembly-hall-construction-worldwide.
the previous form of funding was facilitated by entirely by voluntary donations.

The problem is that you're being subjective, you let your opinion in the article. Omit the "if not more" and the last phrase about them reading only the first page and not the entire letter. Or try to rephrase it in a way that it sounds more objective.
Give this a try and let's see how it works out. If i'd be a beleiver witness I'd definitely delete what you wrote or at least edit it just because of what I've mentioned above.

200,000$??? for what? They could construct 6 KH in my country with that amount of money. Not that I care, it's just silly.
About the letter: Ladies and gentleman, this is a giant step for the org, slowly, step by step they introduce a membership fee.

The Circuit Overseer's mid week talk
by stuckinarut2 inso the mid week talk from the co is making me feel ill..... he is going on about all the wonderful adjustments in the org and teachings, and just how clear and understandable they are....and saying that these truths make us more convinced that we have the truth!.
and that all these changes are evidence of love for the people in our territory... the truth is now so much clearer and easier to understand..... oh come on!!!!!!!!.
aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!.

I only had to sit through the sunday talks. It was the worst 2 hours of my life. I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry.
Two things especially were hilarious: pointing out how the society celebrated christmas in the '20s (Jesus chose this org in 1918, remember? Major conttradiction, didn't have the guts to correct him). He forgot to mention the new lights that weren't actually that new at all.
These talks given by the CO would have waken me up if I hadn't been already. If the gb said that 2x2 = 5 people from my cong would definitely accept it as a universal truth... *vomits away*

JW.ORG link
by Pete Zahut ini was thinking about the thousands upon thousands of posts that have been made on this site over the years and all the valuable information contained in them.
i was also thinking about all the years that this site was in existence before i stumbled upon it.. i wondered if from now on, if each person making a post on this site, put the words jw.org at the end of the title of their post or somewhere in the body of their post itself, if it would somehow drive those who are looking for jw.org to this site instead?.
for example "what's up with those new literature carts ?

Is it kind of funny that JWs don't give Jesus resurrection day any notice?
by Comatose inif you think about it, for a die hard christian the day jesus was supposed to be resurrected and back in heaven, thereby fulfilling his earthly mission, is a very big day.
all the jws i know never even thought about it.
in fact if i had mentioned it, i bet they would have looked me at strangely.

Maybe because the bible doesn't tell christians to commemorate his ressurection? The bullshit is hard on this one. Sorry, I said it. Sometimes it seems to me that people here try so hard to get caught on every little detail jws differ from other groups. Imagine a jw full of doubts finding this post first on this site. I don't think they would continue reading on other posts.
