This is my thoughts...........
1. Fulfilling the Bible command to Preach and Teach (Matt. 24:14, Matt 28:19,20)
2. Worldwide United Brotherhood
3. The only group extolling God's name.
thats my thoughts.....
to all loyal jehovah's witnesses:.
the bible says that at the mouth of three witnesses let every matter be firmly established.
so i'm curious... if you had to choose only three, what three things about the watchtower society and/or it's teachings convinces you beyond any doubt that jehovah's witnesses has the truth about the bible and is the sole representative of jehovah on earth today?.

imagine that you had never heard of the watchtower.
imagine that your life and that of your families had never been influenced by wt teachings.. i know for a fact that the wt's philosophy on further education contributed to my not achieving what i should have at school.
this is not to shirk the responsibility for my grades; ultimately they were my responsibility.
OOOOOweeeee ..touched a nerve..normie was in the Dramas that put negative light onhigher education.................still Pi$$ed about it.....

good morning people,.
could someone here tell me more about the cards that are kept at the kh on the publishers there?.
do they keep one for unbaptized people, and at what stage (interested one, publisher, etc.
the card in question isthe Publisher card, and it is started when you start reporting hours out in the Field Ministry. You can ask to see your Pub Card at any time to your Secretary of the Cong or Service Overseer...to check out how you have done in the past, etc. It does follow you fromCong to Cong to help keep records in order. If you move tho the Secretary will send a letter that accompany's the card. This usually is a description in the form of a letter, letting the new body of Elders what type person you are..i.e. MS material or needs helpin a spiritual way.etc. Honestly I'm not sure about Judicial matters that the person moving, if they would send records.I really think(IMHO)they stay in the Cong. I think the Bros in new Hall can call and ask Questions about their past...in the interest of helping them spiritually.....
Thats my 2 cents anyhow

Hello Tiawana
I am currently inthe JW Organization....Please do your homework before becoming a JW....i.e......don't let them force you to baptism until you are sure..............if you let them force you to baptism, you may face many probs if you question the Faith. Thats the position I'm in right now!!!!!I was baptized at the age of 14...having been raised in the Org basicallly.I made everybody happy when I did so....Now I have been in for more than 19yrs ..scared to Death to have Doubts about teachings, as my whole Family and wife are in the Truth. So whatever you do RESEARCH the Organization!!!!!!
Oh by the Welcome!!!!!!!!

The reason I mentioned that about Ray was because, even in the book COC, he seems to be trying to be just as important as his Uncle Fred was. I know that doesn't sound right. Having grew upnear the Covington KY area(Freds home Cong) you hear different things, thats all.Ray seemed to be trying to compete with Fred all the time........

....I have read COC and found it quite fascinating. I am currently an active Jw. One thing I do know about Ray, (he used to PIO in an area around where I was from)he thought very highly of himself. I don't mean that in a mean or hateful way, but he always seemed to be in his Uncles shadow(Fred Franz). Now mind you I never met or talked to Ray, but only over the past 20+ years in the Org, I heard fromthose who knew Ray. So its probably not the best viewpoint.....honestly found some amazing things in the book. He did not bash anybody at all in the book, but found him to be gentle and warm in his writing. I honestly identified his writing style in the book to various Watchtowers that fit his writing style. I always found his writing to be excellent and easy to read. It definitely caused to look at things in a whole new "Light" after finishing his book. Thats just my take on COC.................

at the 1994 district convention in bismark, north dakota, (could possibly have been 93) my sister wrote a note to her friend and tossed it in the garbage.
the note contained a discussion about going to boy's hotel rooms after the sessions ended, and other troublesome activities, including lying to the parents about what my sister and her friend were doing.. presumably, an attendant found this note in the garbage and turned it into the elders.
on the last talk of the last day of the convention, the note was read out loud to the entire audience, along with the warning that "whoever you are, we will find you.
just curious about your reply to this thread mommy..........You said you were in attendance at this DC and the PO...not sure what PO is at a DC???.....sorryjust asking, not saying it isn't true mind you. I was just curious who the PO is??The reason I ask is....Was it your PO at the local Cong level??Or was it a Po of another Cong that you knew?Usually the top brass at a DC is the Convention Chairman.
Not questioning you, just want to understand....
by the way love your posts...:)

there is a phenomenon in dub dom that i have always hated.
the circuit/district convention.. people will spend hard earned money, use up any vacation they may have to travel to a city they don't really have any particular reason to see to sit for entire days and listen to the same b.s.
they could sit and listen to at the meetings in their home kingdom hall.
............Yep Our KH had many Dramas...I was in about 6 or 7 of them!!!Also had the wonderful privelege of being furniture movers(i.e. Rocks, windows etc. of the Ancient Dramas) in 2 more......I was also the STAR of the College Dramas...(Ted, if you remember)met lotta nice sisters(lol lol)!!It was so cool being Stars and having people coming after the Drama and wanting your Pic taken!!No Autographs tho..:( One Drama cracked me up tho...I was an Israelite and at the time sportin' a "High and Tight" hair cut. Asked the Director if I should grow out my hair. Said "Nope"....So hear I was an Israelite with a Marine Haircut sportin a rug on my Face(Beard).....AND PEOPLE WERE STILL WANTING THERE PIC WITH ME!!!
Unbelivable!!!!
oh for the glory days.........
