question about the go bags.

its been a minute since posting, have been trying to put this cult in my review mirror and just live life.

but you know this beast rears it's evil head.

my wife found my crisis of conscience book and out came the horns plus i guess what she is hearing at the meetings isn't helping either.

A PIMI (who was at one time close to my family) informed that "the GB wants the R&F start bringing their Go Bags to all of the KH meetings, for the congregations may be instructed that no one will be able to return to their homes. The KHs' doors will be locked due to the GT starting to begin".

If the above is true, what about any other family members who didn't make it to the KH (due to illness or other reasons)? That would mean that the Dubs in attendance couldn't physically check on their household at all.

Again, another scur tactic of WT to keep their sheeple in line. . . . . . . .

School teachers and jw parents

did anyone have problems with their parents and teachers butting heads on the jw 'rules' we as kids faced when going to school.

extra circular activities, sitting out for birthdays and holidays... ect.. the jw that raised me was quite a vocal, loud, sometimes violent tempered person and there were many clashes with my teachers.

thank goodness the superintendent took me under his wing, his wife and him for a while.

My mother, two (2) aunts and paternal grandmother asked all of the elementary and middle/junior high school teachers (mine, my siblings and my cousins) to inform them of the dates of all class trips and parties. When our teachers asked why, they came up with the excuses that "As JWs, we rather for our children to be with their family members and other congregants on those days, particularly since these trips and parties are not going to affect they're getting promoted to the next grade or graduated to the next school." As a result, not only did the teachers and administrators go along with our parents'/aunts' requests but we all were ushered into field service with them on those particular days! This idea was "suggested" by some elduhs and a CO. These ladies were really party-poopers, thanks to WT!

What immodest clothing have you got in trouble for wearing?

i personally have a very distinct sense of style and fashion which many of the fellow jdubs frown upon.

recently, i was told by a few specially self righteous ones that i looked like a prostitute in a pair of white boots!

a pair of 3 inch heeled, just a little taller than the ankle boots, with skirt that came down to my knees and a black long sleeve shirt that came up to my collarbone.

My posting may not be about clothing, but I'd thought I'd share this "experience" regarding grooming=> A few years ago, a friend of mine was pulled by an elduh in the back room because of--wait of this--she was wearing pink/fuschia lip gloss! He claimed that "this color hue was very distracting to the brothers and maybe even non-JW men in the Hall". Come to find out, one of his own sons ( teenager) kept staring and commenting to his parents about how "Sister____________ looks pretty and sexy with that lip gloss on her lips today". Creepy, creepy, creeperton!!!

J.W.`s and Paradise and the Reality of it.

when god created adam and eve and put them in the garden of eden it was then up to them to cultivate and take care of it ,god had no further hand in it .the responsibility rested with adam/eve and their offspring.. the same would be true in the paradise to come ,god gets rid of all of us wicked people ,but then it is up to j.w.~s who are left on this earth to restore such a paradise.?

without god`s intervention.. think of it , this system is gone with all its infrastructure.. 8 million + j.w.`s scattered throughout the earth with.

no communication systems operating .

IMPO, a number of non-Jdubs who are, in WT's thoughts and who would be annihilated, are the ones with the skill sets and know-how to keep Planet Earth operating. Sorry, but many Dubs (especially since many do not have college/university, nor trade/technical school experience) will not be able to get civilization up and running after the Big A. So, if WT's paradise is to become a reality--just like in their many artists' illustrations--they would need very, very skilled/talented people to take care of vital resources (such as: plumbing, electricity, solar energy, waste disposal, architecture, agriculture, etc.).

Do Jehovah`s Witnesses lie to receive Government benefits ?

jehovah`s witnesses do not respect the ,governments of any nation from my experience with "witnesses" over 33 years as a card carrying member.

the governments are to be exploited taking advantage of all the provisions govt`s, hand out to their citizens.after all the govts, are under the control of satan the devil ,he is the ruler of this world and is at enmity with god.. so they feel justified in practicing deception as they the gov`ts.

being opposer`s of truth have no right to know the real truth.. i personally knew of pioneers who had no intention of finding work but were happy to take unemployment benefits from the govt.

My family members know a brother who orchestrated a plan for a nephew of an elder from his wife's childhood congregation to: attack him and injure him to extent whereby he is now able to obtain long-term disability benefits (this sheister, according to rumor, told the teenager to kick and punch both of his knees and near his spine)! After a short hospital stay, it was said that he was able to stay the hell home and count auxiliary pioneer hours (via phone witnessing, letter writing plus Facebook postings), resulting in collecting a nice, fat LTD check! Now, how's that for proving that some Jdubs don't want to do a 9-to-5!

I'm so glad plus overjoyed that this was broadcasted. It will show nonJdubs again what type of religion (which is actually a corporation) WT truly is. Hopefully, non-ones will steer clear of it, and those still on the inside who have doubts will wake up and leave/flee it!

hadn't seen a thread started on this so i thought i'd start a tribute thread to one of the great actors / entertainers over the years we've enjoyed watching.

he had a wicked, dry sense of humor, especially on the johnny carson show, great acting in deliverance, so if anybody would like to share stories, you tube snippets of talk show appearances, or pieces from movies- feel free to do so !

And still WT uses physicians, attorneys, communication specialists, electricians, plumbers and the like to help them operate their corporation. Persons with the above listed were able to obtain these skill sets because=> THEY WENT TO COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY and/or ATTENDED A SPECIALIZED SCHOOL (sorry for the ALL CAPS, everybody)! Their mandate is now seen by many persons in and outside of Borg as stupid/ridiculous, especially since they have to employ people with those skill sets to help run their business!

wt on education..

i have just watched the glass smashing on the wt video on education.. please consider these experiences from the opposite side of that "coin".. i have heard young ones say out-loud on the mike in the kh that "jehovah is my special friend.."these ones who were at the top of the wt 'tree' pioneering, putting in the hours etc but, it followed that soon saying that pivotal statement they dropped their pioneering, faded, picked up the girl/boyfriend and suffered being dfd.. so where did their wt "education" leave them?

it left them as young adults naive to the world, unskilled, with no qualification to offer any employer and having to replace their former family/associates/friends with new ones.. ( dont get me going on shunning) in some cases with little success as we have read here where they moon about for months or longer unable to emotionally heal after the leaving or df'ing and also others with such a turn around they would never have believed it possible... there was a wt that related how a brother (!

) followed an interest in history and left the truth.

This other thought: Once the JDub while or after attending college/university awakes up and gets good/decent employment, he/she/they will not feel any obligation to donate to WT. They will see the scam that this corporation-disguised-as a religion is conducting and leave them flat for good!

District Assemblies now being held at Circuit Assembly locations?

i haven't been to a kh in decades, so i get the google alerts for jws and i got one featuring a local news channel in brooklyn covering the assembly being held in flatbush, brooklyn.

i'm sure that venue is where the circuit assemblies are usually held, keeping in mind it's summer and that's when the district assemblies are being held.

why are they acting like they're so strapped for cash and now holding district assemblies in circuit assemblies locations ?.

Shirley W=> Re: The Brooklyn Assembly Hall DCs (now RCs) have been held there since 2006. It's the beginning of WT saving $$$$$ and keeping from having to pay rental fees to the management corporations of arena venues such as Yankee Stadium, Met Life Stadium, Shea Stadium and the like (although Nassau Coliseum was used in 2014 for the International RCs).
