  The ones who didn't take it VERY seriously as far back as in the 1980s and 1990s had their own personal agenda for going out in field circus: (a) Popularity and (b) Searching for marriage partners. These dubs wanted to be famous--similar to celebs. As regards to dating and marriage, they wanted to be betrothed to the most revered plus greatly admired brothers or sisters (whether these were in their home cong or some other cong). These members might've believed in the basic doctrines but had their own motives for engaging in the preaching work, anyways. 🤷🏽‍♂️

  Almost got caught lying about listening in to yesterday's Memorial

  i have not attended any kingdom hall meetings in 10 years.

  the elders gave up on me a while ago.. the last 3 years i get phone calls to listen in to zoom meetings.

  listened in several times... nothing has changed!

  Luckily, she didn't ask me about what race he was and what color suit he was wearing. Changing the subject helped me from further questioning!

  That's what I can't stand/I no longer stomach about certain JWs! Some of them--especially Uber- Ultra SPIMIs--feel that they can POLICE each other's spirituality, in that they can be like "Spiritual Policemen" and try to find/make judgment calls regarding if a dub is doing/following what the GB(2.0) is instructing them all to do! 😫 That's also why I, myself, family members, friends, and other dubs have woken up and left this heinous organization-cultporation!👏🏻👏🏽👏

  they really don't give an explanation, it's like old light and new light, one reads the new light, and .

  in the spirit of loyalty, the subject gets dropped, and there's no more talk about the old name again.. .

  How far has Watchtower and the GB of Jehovah's Witnesses gone to stalk and silence critics?

  we have all watched some of the documentaries about the church of scientology hiring detectives to stalk and harass their former members,( their "apostates").

  i have heard of individual cases of rabid jw elders stalking ex-jws, and of course, one would expect some enforcement of corporate copyright infringement on anti-jw websites.. what were the most outrageous jw "stalking" or investigation stories you remember?.

  tonight's 60 minutes into ebay stalking a middle-aged couple who writes a newsletter reminded me a lot of the menlo park congregation watchtower "takeover", closure, and stalking of local elders to mind.

  Their establishing/setting up the PID (Public Information Department) is proof that they want the public and their critics to listen and watch the information about their "SQUEAKY-CLEAN" image. It's all about them being the proverbial "Wizard Of Oz/Man Behind The Curtain" routine which is P.R. for their cultporation. 🤨🤨 Again and once more, they ain't foolin' nobody! ☝🏻☝🏽

  Elder asks my disfellowshipped cousin to leave house while grieving for his grandmother

  fourteen years ago i started a thread on how horrible my disfellowshipped cousin was treated after his mom passed away and the terrible actions on the part of the elders at the funeral home.. 67. horrible conduct by congregation elders at my cousin's funeral.............. well, here we are 14 years later, and things haven't changed!.

  my aunt ( who is my disfellowshipped cousin's grandmother ) was placed in home hospice care.

  the nurse told her daughters ( who are jehovah's witnesses and live with their mother ) that their mom probably has 2 days left to live and that they should call the immediate family.. my disfellowshipped cousin and his sister show up in the early morning.

  Firstly, I'm very sorry that this happened to your cousin. This elduh had NO DAMN right to make this judgment call!

  Secondly--and this is a SIDEBAR point--, WT has influenced (and more than likely under-the-cuff mandated) elduhs to act like "Spiritual Policemen"* even when it comes to household situations. A couple of decades ago, there was a sister [I'll call her "Q" (who at the time was PIMO but is now POMO)], who didn't get to attend KH meetings as often due to not only being Mentally Out but primarily because of her job schedule. Getting to the heart of the matter, 4 out of the 6 cong elduhs and 2 MSs noticed this. These jamowckers came to Q's home (she lived with her widowed mother and 2 siblings), and tried to convince her mom to "KICK her out of the house"! 😨 After a large argument between the family and these elduhs, her mother plus 1 of her siblings under pressure from this group of men, made arrangements for Q to leave. They claimed that Q was a "spiritual danger" to her family. Thankfully, Q had her job and her own car. So, she after 2 weeks, ended up living with an NI (Never In) relative until she can find her own place. A few months later, Q finally woke up to TTATT and eventually left The Borg. Although she went through all of the above, I say: "GOOD 4 HER!"! 👏🏻👏🏽💯

  *Spiritual Policemen": What GB1.0 (Sidlik, Schroeder, Swingle, etc.) told in talks and within some past literature that the BOEs plus MSs are not and are not to become towards the flock. It was mentioned that family heads (males and females) and single adult dubs are to make their own decisions based on the Bible and the literature (at that time) when it came to problems/issues. The elduhs are not to be called for everything and not to involve themselves in everything/aspect of a JWs life. Now, with GB2.0 at the helm, things are WAY DIFFERENT! 🤨

  What Percentage of active JW's are on Anti-Depressants?

  i came across an xjw post on redditt from a rn.

  she states that nearly every jw she ever treated was on anti-depressants or anti-psychotic drugs:.

  There was an internist (somewhere in NYC) who had a large number of JWs as patients. This physician, after repeatedly asking the patients questions about their mental health, would write prescriptions for anti-depressants (a.k.a. "head meds") during every single appointment! Even if the dub didn't have ANY issues in that particular area, this doctor would write out a 'script anyways! The PIMOs who told me about this said that this medical professional felt--no doubt personally--that JWs, due to their belief system (doctrines and policies), are "prime candidates for use of these medications, particularly they're being members of a high-control group!". With the way WT is, I'm not really shocked! ☝🏻☝🏽🤨🤨🤷‍♀️

  I had soooooo many nightmares about the animals hunting to eat the people who didn't become dubs (and those, according to some SPIMIs throughout the decades not only in talks but also within plenty of conversations) dubs who--behind closed doors--not being completely obedient! 😨😨😰 I really felt sick to my stomach and had headaches when this and the blood ban were time and time again mentioned. 🤢🤮

  Knowing how WT operates, the dubs attending In-Person meetings WILL NOT give any foodstuffs/beverages, clothing, or monies to help these persons out. What they will do--and have always done so--is preach to these people until their faces turn blue plus hand out literature to the nines. This cultporation doesn't really do ANYTHING NORMALLY GOOD for anyone in society! ☝🏻☝🏽😫😖🤬
