In my childhood cong (from the 1970s to 1990s): Only 9 (2 converted in by my mom and one of my aunts). In a few of my other congs (from the 1990s to early-2000s): Only 4 (1 which a now-POMO cousin "aided in"). Other present exdubs I know only remember less than 15-20 converts while they were in The Borg from the years 1950 to 2010. The cultporation more than likely FUDGED the #s for these years; not surprised though about the data/census changes and the fact that there are not many people wanting to become members of this organization disguised as a religion!

How many new converts do you remember as a JW?

my belief is that almost all the growth, at least in the western world is due to jw's having kids.
i was a 4th generation jw from birth till about age 20, so the timeframe i can comment on would be my teen years.

What`s the reason some of you think JW`s are in decline ?
by smiddy3 infrom what i can see no such thing is happening.i became a jw in 1960 and remained for about 30 years and the numbers of active jw`s today in the world are far greater than they were back then.. and here in australia the numbers are much higher than they were back then .. so i don`t see that their in decline or have any worries about losing support .. don`t the numbers speak for themselves ?.
is it just wishful thinking on your part ?.

No children in the video!They know the party is over.A good number of dubs are waiting for The New World to procreate. Many who are of childbearing age are following what the leadership--GB2.0--is and has said about giving all of their time, energy, efforts, and money (of course) to the cultporation. So, some are not even pursuing dating any fellow dub. Further, a number of these are looking forward to climbing the "cultporation ladder" to gainprivilegestitles, making themselves feel personally better (especially if these have some sort of low-self esteem), and gaining accolades from fellow members in the final analysis (again, especially if these have some sort of low-self esteem). This is shown during the countless ZOOM Meetings I was told about from numerous congs: In some congs where there are 150 publishers, the percentages are 90% are on ZOOM (mainly ages 45 to 80 and beyond) and 10% are In Person (mainly ages 30 to 40). Young ones from ages 17/18 to 29 aren't present; they have vacated and left the Borg! 👏🏻👏🏽👏 -

we were just taught that was olden times now jehovah has clarified things.. but i was thinking about the poor older ones who had been in truth for decades who remembered those times, and they must have had doubts.. well look at the changes today in 2023.. we are supposed to just forget about 1975 and all these other things so what about the things happening in our time that we are supposed to feget about .
we should never forget that following direction to be fully vaccinated was harmful direction.

These decisions were a "RUTHERFORD THING". Just like the Godforsaken/heinous Blood Ban he instituted (via a QUACK physician), he made erroneous changes from whatever Russell had established initially. It's sad that it was all a POWER PLAY and POWER STRUGGLE which ultimately affected the lives of people who thought they were in a belief system that would benefit their lives and the lives of all mankind. TTAT proved that this is all about: POWER, CONTROL, AND $$$$$$, not about/for welfare plus the well-being of humankind in general! -

The cultporation doesn't want to APPEAR to be a HATEFUL/HATEFILLED organization. They are getting a plethora of backlash plus publicity about their unchristlike policies. Since they are still endeavoring to garner converts, more than likely they have made this move.

Confirmed: CO Discourages Zoom
by XBEHERE ini can confirm that the co during one of his service talks stated that zoom is a provision for elderly, infirmed, as well as people who might need it on occasion due to health reasons, otherwise you are expected to be in person at meetings and in the ministry.
this had to come down from the top.

A PIMO relative told me that a number of NYC congs will not be able to view the upcoming RCs via ZOOM. Congs in other states (such as VA, WVA, NC, SC, GA, FL, LA, TN, etc.) will be provided this platform (with special ID#s and passcodes) for those who cannot attend in person. However, my relative related that her elduhs and elduhs from other dubs who she is friends with in other NYC congs are encouraging members--regardless of their physical/ medical, financial, or secular statuses--to travel to the CAHs where the RCs are usually held. After "giving a piece of her mind" to her elduhs about this, one of them (who she gets along with) called her back a couple of days ago to tell her that he will try to see if there is another way she can view the RC.
WT is more than likely doing this so that their followers and off-the-street visitors can DONATE when they cry out for contributions! This is the usual $$$$$GRAB technique, particularly since the cultporation has not received plenty of funds during the pandemic! #SHIESTYAF!

My neighbour's views on J.W's

it is so we can swap unwanted goods, inform each other of local crimes and scams etc, and we can vent.. there was a post that said the lady did not want this crap coming through her door, a letter and a tract from a j.w.
i won't post the thread here , as at least one xjw is on there, but all the comments below her post were anti-jw !

Curtailing zoom

JWs Still Attending on Zoom

he said that cong's in and around bethel, including his, are slowly starting to see an uptick with people attending in person his cong is pretty much 75%+ in person.
however there are many that still use zoom as a fall back.
