i knew a lady who was disfellowshipped for 20 years for smoking.

she finally went back to the kh and since they couldn't find her paperwork, (all the former elders were dead) she was allowed back in without reinstatement.

no one even remembered her.

@ Balaamsass2➡ Heard within a couple of former congs about members (both male and female) being placed on PRIVATE RESTRICTIONS (with WARNINGS) regarding single members JUST CONVERSING with other members of the opposite genders---especially if those individuals were NIs [Never Ins: Persons who might've read WT literature but declined to have any dealings with The Borg (including bible studies, etc.)].

AAMOF, one sister was spoken to on more than 1 occasion about being seen talking to a male neighbor---via a couple of other NOSEY Dubs, who are known GOSSIPERS in their congregation + circuit😤. Her elders took the words of these Dubs (who had TITLES) and didn't want to consider anything she had to say within her defense. IMPHO, this is ridiculous/ludacris, because she COULD'VE BEEN INFORMAL WITNESSING to that dude; but alas, those overseers chose to believe LIES spread about her from INDOCTRINATED CORPORATE LADDER CLIMBERS rather than hers.

SIDEBAR--> I learned from a member on r/exjw Reddit that an 8-year-old unbaptized male potential Dub was selected/ appointed to do MIC WORK in a Cong somewhere in the USA. WT is very desperate to get children (and possibly intelligent infants) to handle ADULT RESPONSIBILITIES. BTW, that particular Cong's BOE made the above decision because the sisters (single, specifically) were handling mics + technical tasks. These elders informed them that "The Branch doesn't want them to do these any longer". WELP. 🤷‍♀️

THIS video reminds me of the other leaked one regarding the elder who permitted his daughter to attend college and the BOE went QUITE APE on the guy. memory from long ago: my old mate from high school lived next door to a jw and was often "treated" to the latest jw literature.

when the "you can live forever in paradise on earth"* book came out, this neighbour waxed lyrical about how good this book was and how powerful the message was.

he acted really keen about it, like it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

My ex-Dub relatives informed me that there are a small number of U-UPIMIs + SPIMIs (they know of) who get "quite happy" when ANY info comes to the fore. When one older sister acted out, cheering after the CLAM at her Cong, several Dubs looked at her and laughed, STHs + doing eye rolls at this woman. #PATHETIC

Education video this midweeks meeting

there is an item this week all about yang ones leaving school.. the two brothers go to a career advisor seminar.

one brother thinks it’s good to work hard full time while you are young and tries to encourage his friend to as well.. his friend (who is the good jw trust the gb no matter what they say)) he wants a part time job.. the video shows him dreaming about investing his money on his phone and the chart goes up, he drives a nice car and seems to be doing well financially.. then he reads the scripture in proverbs and next you see that investment chart go down in the red and he is so pleased he just got a low paid part time job.. this infuriates me.

how many of us are now struggling because we were told to get menial part time jobs and we were told the end would have been here by now.. i will never tell a young person to listen to the gb advice on this.

AGAIN, another SUBLIMINAL TOOL used via this cultporation to influence young people (and those a little older in age groups) to: DUM-DOWN themselves and "think" to not feel that they are worth anything in the area of caring for themselves financially.

Firstly, the damning prohibition regarding college/university; and now secondly, rejecting decent job/employment offerings. This cultporation gives me the stark impression that they DON'T WANT the Rank & File to EVEN SURVIVE. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the leadership keeps BEGGING PROFUSELY for funds--while a good amount/more than several members barely have enough money to support themselves concerning the three (3) necessities of life (food/clothing/shelter). Sidebar--> A few ex-Dubs have mentioned wondering why WT does not provide a shelter system for followers who have fallen on tough times to the greater degree that they are HOMELESS! The KHs that are being sold--for profit, of course--can house the ones who have nowhere to go, preventing them from sleeping on the streets! 😥😣

MY RANT is viable; The Borg DGAHD for their people and is constantly influencing them to UNDERMINE themselves just about every day this organization disguised as a religion stays in existence! 😠😡

I totally agree with you Atlantis! This group [GB2.0 (now referred to as: GB3.0, via some exJW activist-insiders)] are a bunch of BLASPHEMOUS folks, who more than likely want the WORSHIP + ACCOLADES that in actuality belong to God Almighty. The more I (along with some other former Dubs) read and hear about these persons placing themselves on high/pedestal-wise, the more I get PISSED OFF as well!😠😡 I hope that a whole PLETHORA of members wake the hell up and vacate ASAP! ☝🏼

And will WT give even a SMIDGEN of funds to help their members--now called "MINISTERS"--when these folks are down and out: All due to the fact that since many do not have the adequate education [there are some dubs who have been discouraged from finishing high school (and some are told not to finish middle school?)] to support themselves, they have been left, as a familiar scripture states. "left begging for bread"; doing so in that they have to not only ask/apply for government assistance but some have asked other dubs time and time again for monetary help! WT really wants to see their followers become and in most cases remain: THE MOST UN/ UNDEREDUCATED AND POOREST PEOPLE ON THE FACE OF PLANET EARTH!

Secret Elders Book? Bwahahaha!

i remember a couple of decades ago when the internet was relatively young and the wt was at war with it, that they were battling to keep the pay attention book secret, commencing legal action against anyone who published it online (and of course, trying to out anyone who leaked it).

i think it was a norwegian skeptics organisation who had it available for download and dared the wt lawyers to come after them.. so i guess the new shepherd the flock book came out to try and put the genie back in the bottle and reassert some air of mystery and secrecy back into the equation.. so i typed jehovah's witnesses secret elder book into google.

colour me gobsmacked!

It is depressing a book to look through. All negative.

WT has been depressing and negative ever since RUTHERFORD took over! Both GBs and now specifically 2.0 (Lett/Splaine/Herd, etc.) have and are micromanaging the membership to the greater extent that if dubs were to breathe wrong, they can be counseled and excommunicated in a swiftness. This can be seen/proven via the WT studies plus the Broadcasts displayed on a weekly basis; and many followers are getting disenchanted/disappointed with what they are hearing and seeing in their individual Congs.
