  yesterday, i posted a question for a friend in texas as to whom he should contact to report sexual abuse from the 1960s by a jw pioneer/elder who is now deceased.

  (incidentally, there are plenty of people who are still alive and in the organization who were very aware of the circumstances and who can be summoned to give testimony regarding these accusations.

  What is the financial situation for a couple who live and work at Walkill?

  i have a married cousin who has moved to work at the walkill farm.

  what is the financial situation of someone like this?

  i would assume they do not build social security or medicare.

  WT only wants non-critically thinking R&F members to remain within the Borg. They figure that these persons will be PIMI forever and never question or think to question any doctrines and especially organizational policies. Any other R&F who wake up--verbally and/or silently questioning the above--are considered apostate and enemies to "Mother". In fact, the Stepfordized PIMIs will give any and all $$$$ to the GB--without question!

  if you criticize a female, you are obviously sexist.

  if you criticize someone who happens to be gay, you must hate homosexuals.

  IMPO, it depends upon the type of criticism. The definition below can be taken in 2 forms:

  crit·i·cism

  noun

  • 
    the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes:"he received a lot of criticism"
    censure, reproval, condemnation, denunciation, disapproval, ... more
  • 2.the analysis and judgment of the merits and faults of a literary or artistic work:"alternative methods of criticism supported by well-developed literary theories"synonyms:evaluation, assessment, examination, appreciation, appraisal, ...

  If this word falls under the second meaning, i.e., in the case of a supervisor (any race) to an employer (any race), it would not be considered racist. The supervisor is critiquing the work or work ethic of the employee. This critiquing, if the supervisor is a concerned individual, would be helpful to the employee so that he or she can make the necessary improvements in their assignment(s).

  If this word falls under the first meaning and the criticism sounds like words "45" and his hateful/hate-filled supporters would express and have expressed, singling out one or a number of demographics of people, then it is racist (definition: a person with a prejudiced/discriminatory belief that his/her race is superior/better than other races).

  The rhetoric that is spewed out nowadays is anti-black, anti-Latinx, anti-Jew, anti-Muslim, etc. , and is causing dissension amongst various people, to the degree that innocent people being harassed in the street while minding their own business plus taking care of their normal everyday activities (i.e., going to work, going to school, taking care of family, travelling to buy a meal, etc.).

  For a lone cart which Dubs (RPs and elduhrettes) carry and man on a daily basis is usually $100.00 (WT orders each cart at this rounded-off price). For that monstrosity at Newark Airport must cost approx. between $500.00 to over $1,000.00. And this, folks, is where also some of the R&F's donation $$$$ is going towards!

  so here's some random highlights from the convention this year:.

  in a couple of videos, they promote a very negative attitude about bettering yourself and taking career opportunities.

  for instance, in one video a boy is either getting a college offer or at a job fair, i can't remember exactly, but first he imagines getting better off financially, and then he turns around and imagines losing his money and losing his nice car.

  Thanks, Spiral. I fully agree with you. There are so many Dubs who have gone through financial upheavals and also, thinking that they "will gain blessings from Jehovah", downsized their lives (i.e., from either full-time employment to parttime employment to unemployment, more than 1 decent running car to a junky-janky hoopty, a nice house to tiny house to 1 bedroom or studio apartment, etc.) and had to apply for government subsidies (i.e., food stamps, transportation passes, and so on) just to survive from day to day. And NO SUPPORT FROM WT, because the GB are selfish, greedy bums! I know because I speak from experience: The city government where I resided at the time caused plenty of layoffs. This affected myself, my siblings and a relative who lived together. We had to really scrape from the bottom of the barrel in order to make due/survive. This financial crisis occurred for approx. 3-4 years back in the 1990s. All the cong members would say that "the best thing to do is to go out more in service, pray, attend every meeting and wait on Jah"! Really sick and tired of WT and their ungodly rhetoric. Sorry for the long rant!

  Anger expressed with the barrage of F-bombs, etc.: SIMON should be informed about this.

  Anyways, Dub women are always being put on the carpet re: dress and grooming, being blamed for bros (elduhs and MSs, in particular) getting hard-ons, and so on. The GB, who have creepy thoughts about females (and children) being sex objects are the real blame for this issue (one of soooo darn many)!

  WT doesn't want any Dubs to take care of themselves physically, quoting time after time the scripture re: "Bodily training v. Godly devotion". That's why so many develop medical problems as time goes on. Physical exercise releases endorphins and is important for all vital organs, etc. They rather for most Dubs only stand at carts and sit down at great deal (sitting is the new smoking) instead of being very physically active at least 4-5 days weekly.

  During an hour+ long pre-recorded symposium, representatives from many countries were interviewed, and the whole time the Skype logo was shown onscreen. It makes me wonder if there was some sort of financial incentive.

  WT will NEVER provide any financial incentives to their parishioners. The greedy/selfish GB keeps all of the proceeds for themselves. They don't care about anyone's financial situations [probably laughs about the R&F (mainly the PIMIs) submitting donations and their poor status in life].
