Idea to do with junkmail

i got an email about a neat idea of what to do with junkmail and i got to do it today.

i got a jc penny credit card offer and junkmail from the healthsystem where where i work.

luckily jc penny included a "no postage necessary if mailed in united states" envelope i just tore up all my junkmail and stuffed it into the prepaid envelope.

#2 Talks

brothers assigned #2 talks have no work to do at all as far as i can see.

if you're even a moderately good reader, you could look over it for about 2 minutes ahead of time.. when someone doesn't show up for the reading, and another brother fills in "short notice", there really isn't any noticeable change in the talk, or how it's read.

in other words, just about anyone could do it.. and then the counselor has to come up with terms about how well the brother read it.........etc., etc., etc.. the commendation is pretty much identical every week for this part.. the sisters have to do extensive research on their parts, but the younger brothers who don't do the #4 assignments have got it very easy..........for most, it's about a 5 min.

More Rain in California

we have had so much rain in california and it is supposed to rain again today!!!!!!!

where is our lovely summer weather????

this past weekend was wonderful, i was in my yard and got all my new flowers planted and got a nice bit of sun on my arms and face .... starting to look like a california girl again.

This is weird, I think the end is coming...er wait, faithful humans were never to be wiped out again...any one here, hear of a large boat being built?

i thought it would be cute to mix a little dubdom with mothers day since i'm jealous of everyone who gets ta give their mom sumthin and i can't..........so i'm condemning you damn pagans!mothers day origin moms are the best things that ever happened in the world.

on may 11th every year, we celebrate 'mother's day' as an opportunity to express our love, respect and gratitude to our mothers for all the things she has done for us.

Shunning my Husband

but today i am shunning him.

yesterday he went to a car show with a friend and drove home intoxicated.

I am sorry you are going through this. I did it for 19 years.

Bikerchic and Sphere have given great advice.

No shunning, communication is the best, he doesn't listen? You are right, talking to someone who is drunk gets you no where.

Join Alanon, drinking is the problem. He is sorry today, and trying to make up, but has no idea why you are angry because he made it home...again after having a great time. Then he comes home to find you giving him the silent treatment. My ex use to tell me, why would I come home or call? You were mad already.

Alanon helps with getting your own life, in your post all you said was what "our" plans are. He is not following those plans. Like Sphere said, get your life back, he will notice and not use you as a scapegoat as why he doesn't come home.

Big problem in a little post, but I hope it helps.

Whose your Mama gumbastard? ( suddenly the bastard part takes on a whole new meaning)

Gumby, I raised my kids in the troof, my df'd daughter called me last night to say she will be spending the day with her MIL, but my granddaughters want to see me on Monday because they made me a gift. I made my bed, and now I lye in it. Sucks big time. I have no mom I can call, she is a watchtower slave and a a meeting right now, with her " spiritual children".

Hugs to all who can't show their moms even a token of love on a day that should be nothing, except love.
