Serena Williams (Dishonors) American Flag!

friends, i apologize if this is old information.

sometimes i can't keep up with (all) the posts here.

the thread lists this as (janurary 25, 2003) so thats why i thought it to be old.. i remember that serena williams had (won) the cup and championship, and was photographed carrying the american flag, or engaging in what (some people) considered as (idolatry),--but what was (news) to me, was the fact that she was also photographed (dishonoring) the american flag as well.

i am having a really bad day, probably one of the worst in five years, i am leaving a relationship that is abusive, don't have any contadt with my children due to the dfing, etc

and funny enough, i have kept all friendships off, although people almost beg me for association,

do any of you do that? heck i think i need to go back to the shrink

i have many many aquaintances, they think i have it all together, but i do not. my four children do not talk to me, for about 5 years, since the dfing, i have no parents, they died years ago, shees, it is a sad story if one was to write it all down, anyway

i think i am posting this so i might get someone from here to say hi to me, silly eh,,,you may not realise it, but i read every post here, since the start of jwd, and you all are a part of me:)

DOCTOR CLEARED IN DEATH OF JW -SUPREME COURT-

i just got the local paper for chilliwack, there was a supreme court case here regarding a jw, i will do a bit of the first few paragraphs, for more go to www.chilliwacktimes.com and you should be able to find the whole article.

doctor cleared in death.

supreme court judge has determined a release form signed by a local jehovah's witnes woman who died following a hysterectomy is enough to clear the doctor in the case from paying damages............ btw.

this is a bit of a spinoff from something elsewhere posted in another thread:he will also perform eight hours of community service each month for the next 15 years.

i bet he won't be late turning in any of his fs reports durring that 15 years!

does anyone know of jws who visit fellow brothers in jail to collect a monthly report, or deliver magazines to place?

no i do not know of a brother like that

but i do know of a (so called) brother in the white rock , bc congregation who not only did a year (albeit part of it on the electronic leg bracelet) in jail, but did a month in jail after arrest, was denied bail then got it with a $25,000 post

his name is roy duquette, all for the beating he laid on his wife

and never was disfellowshipped, after all, he was under a lot of stress in his marriage

i would like to thank william powell,jgnat,rabbit and shera for making me feel welcome my first day here and not jumping to any paranoid conclusions because i have lurked here for a while and had to change my old alias because for some reason it would not log in.lol.

( i got some very strange responses my first day here).

i was also the laugh of the place for a few people here because i accidentally resurrected a very old post (couldnt see the itty bitty tiny numbers of the date)i guess they did not notice (except for one) that i was a newbie and i am getting use to the features here.i guess they forgot what its like to be new.. .
