Daughter wants JW grandpa (shunning us) to help her get a car . . .

some time back, my daughter, (a senior in high school), and i were car window-shopping for her.

she suggested that she ought to ask grandpa - (a jw who is shunning us) - to help her buy a car.

i had actually suggested it a long, long time ago when i was still sometimes in contact with the jw family, but my feelings in the matter (of contact with jw family) changed last year, and i've decided it is better for my mental and emotional well-being to discontinue my efforts at "keeping the lines of communication open" with the jw family because of their shunning policies and evangelism.

ok, here ismy sob story,,when i moved to this little town with a suitcase(lost my children, my $250,000 home and the lifestyle that went with it after 25 years of hard work

well i didnt even have money for a bus, i walked,,,looking for work in freezing rain, got pneumonia(sp), ended up in hospital, no friends, no family, no parents,no credit ,nada

now, i own a store front business, own outright my car,,,,have another i am trying to sell, even have credit, big time, again

now i am not saying all this to be a martyr, but i just dont get kids,,,btw, i am 52....it took all of 7 years

canada's first sextuplets were born to jehovah's witness parents.

they were born at 25 weeks (not 40 weeks as is common with full-term).

due to their prematurity, they will most likely need blood transfusions.

last night there was quite the news report on tv here, as the babies are in vancouver(here)

the point was brought out how they are in a 'public' hospital, and under 'public' health care,,,,they are under a very self imposed secrecy about the babies

it costs us (the public in taxes) $12,000 a day to take care of them and it will cost 1 million by the time they leave the hospital at term

also, it was said how normally they would have used a selective type (abortion) and left only 2

and the blood issue was brought up

made front page of paper also

hi just got this alertt from our local radio station

BC'S tsunami warning system has been triggered by an earthquake off the coast of Japan.

There is a watch to the north tip of Vancouver Island, and the north Coast of BC up to Alaska.

Greater Vancouver and Victoria are not under watch.

There is no confirmation a tsunami has been created.

the fellow, not an elder, although was about 65 and well groomed, etc, so i asked him if he was.

he has been 'in' for 12 years.

i just remembered, i told him , finally that i was df''d,,he said''''oh you must have done something wrong(bad)'.

i said, not,,,,you are df'd for not being repentant

he looked at me,,,,i could have gone off about how i could have been df'd for questioning governing body, etc
