  Has anyone ever run into someone REALLY CREEPY while out in service?

  i know i've run into quite a few weirdos.

  i had one guy that told us that adolph hitler was going to come back from the dead to kill all jws.

  needless to say, he didn't want a copy of the watchtower!

  whilst a jw, one thing that was evident to me was the constant gossip and backbiting.....being nice to someones face and then talking about them behind there backs.were you ever a "victim" of this sort of behaviour???

  is it as common as i suspect from cong.

  oh yes, my divorce was apparently the biggest gossip story ever to hit the lower mainland (vancouver) and possibly bc,

  and apparently i am now currently a herion addict living on the streets of a small city outside of vancouver,,just love it,,,,

  how do your minds work people??.

  the word 'cult'.

  who is comfortable saying they were raised in a 'cult' or were brainwashed temporarily by a 'cult'?.

  if it comes up, i tell all my clients/friends that i was in a cult

  and that i am so very embarassed by it

  it takes them about 2 guesses to say jw's,,so what does that tell you about the publics knowledge of cults/jw's???:)

  i am embarassed, as i was not born into it,,i went into it as a young adult,,as my x husband was the one interested

  he was not one to follow rules, people, etc,,so when i 'thought' he was going to go to 'church' and read the bible,,i was happy,,,,,not that i am a religious person,,but i thought,,,now there would be 'rules' for him to follow in our life

  OK-who's already carving their pumpkins?

  thanks all, being a female xjw, i came out with no money (had a 250K house, etc), a suitcase and yuky credit and very low self esteem

  but i had me:) so my rates were not the highest,,just raised them,,higher end,,heck i still get tips,,and none quit, lol

  so that is true about your rates,,dont be afraid,,,,
