under instruction from the slave, any brother not properly dressed for a meeting is not to have any congregation priviledges (hold mics, talk, attendent, magazines, reading).

a suit is not necessary for a wt reader, but probably is for a wt conductor.
it all depends on the congregation pharisees and their local laws and customs.
also depends alot on individual elders, and their view of the weightier matters of those said laws. ie, a brother forgets his tie. big deal! "would you take us onto the next paragraph brother"
or weather he could handle the "tutt tutt" from the saducee sisters

by snowbird inthose are just symbols that indicate a numerical value, but to me, they mean much more than that.. my clock showed 6:07 as the time a few minutes ago, and i immediately thought of 607 bce.. a friend's address is 1914 neighbor road - guess what comes to mind.. crazy, isn't it?.

truman so sorry about what happened, it seems to me that jw's in general hold to the 'god of all comfort' in the most non sensical situations, like your experience you described, God is looking after us in our time of need
no God would have looked after Glendon and everyone who knew him by dodging a bullet.
I hope somehow it becomes easier to cope...

I want to release the motherload

etc.. my original intent was to make some type of searchable database but my time has been taken over by more important things in life for me.
i don't care about the jw's all that much anymore and who or what gets what information i don't really care.
