my cousin lost 2st over 3-4mths. she looks great. I asked her what diet had she been on, 'I took some magic pills.' I must have looked a bit shocked so she explained that she got a few side effects, thirst being one, so drunk lots of water during the day, waking up early and sometimes struggle to sleep. but she did say that the side effects 'were'nt too bad' and that the weight coming off felt like it was worth it. she has kept it off too which is always a worry for dieters. what I will say is that they do work but like anything do your own research.

Looking for the Jensen Letters.

can anybody link me to the jensen letters?

i can find the text of the letters, but i really would like the scans with official watchtower headed replies.. i plan on showing them to my wife.

We visited an elderly sister in hospital after she needed emergency surgery. Her blood count is really low 3. something, and the fear is that her Organs are not getting enough Oxygen. The doctors have given her Iron but what she really needs is Blood, specifically Oxygen carrying Red Blood Cells. The fear is this dear sisters Kidneys will soon shut down if nothing improves.

When we left the hospital I was visibly upset. The conversation on the way home I told my wife that if she was ever in a situation and she needed a blood component I would do all I can to make sure you got everything you needed to help save your life. She said we need to look at all the information and then we know what we will accept or not.

I said you dont understand - by everything I mean everything.

I said Sister ____ needs Oxygen in her blood or her Brain, Kidneys and whatever else will stop working, Red Blood Cells carry the Oxygen around the body, there are no substitutes or 'No Blood' alternatives that do what Red Blood Cells do, She may not need a Whole Blood Transfusion, they would probably give her just what she needs.

My Wife said that Sister ____'s Conscience may not allow her to accept the same as you.

I said it is nothing to do with what Her or My conscience would accept, but is what we are told we can or cannot accept. We cannot accept Red Blood Cells but we can accept the Heamoglobin that makes up 97% of a Red Blood Cell. I would accept Red Blood Cells if I needed it, and I would fight with everything I had to make sure you or any children that we have would recieve the best treatment advised by the Doctors. Because I could not face losing you or any of our children over the difference of 3%.

I was upset at seeing this dear sister in such a poor condition, I was more upset because Blood could give her a better chance of recovery, It's possible that Blood would not be enough to save her, but at least the doctors would have done everything they could.

What do you guys think? should I show her the Jensen Letters or Not? My angle would be that while I was researching about Blood Components on Google I came across a correspondence that an Elder had with Bethel.... (not very convincing)

notice how it is worded:

like it is Their choice. No. they are Given a choice.

they needed to be able to show that there has always been a functioning faithful and discreet slave in one form or another ever since.

but they were never able to provide any evidence for the existence of an ongoing 1900 year-old slave prior to the appearance of the watchtower society.

All the writers of the NT books were short of being faithful and discreet. Neither were they dispensing food at the proper time.

makes perfect sense to me.

Joseph Franklin Rutherford was the president from 1917-1942 who personally lived through and experienced 'bible prophecy' as a part of his everyday life, he believed that his predecessor C T Russel was 'that faithful and wise steward'. He later replaced a simple gravestone with a more fitting memorial, recognising Russel as The Laodicean Messenger from Revelation.

according to the wt, these are the actual sequence of events that led to the start of world war i:.

1) the gentile times ended on october 1/2, 1914.

2) jesus took the throne immediately thereafter.. 3) one of jesus' first tasks as the newly enthroned king was to engage in a heavenly war against satan and his demons.. 4) having won the war against satan and his demons, jesus expelled satan and his demons from the heavenly realm giving them only terrestial access.. 5) since satan is a sore loser, he became extremely bitter and decided to wreak havoc upon all the earth.. 6) filled with anger, satan then provoked the nations of the earth into a 4 year bloody battle known today as world war i. so there you have it... wwi started sometime in october of 1914 (not july 1914 as history books would have you believe).

so let me see if I have this right. from what is quoted above satan was 'cast out' in 1914 & 1918... who knew?

watchtower annual meeting report.

october 6, 2012. during their annual meeting the governing body announced some changes in their interpretation of (1) the most important scripture in watch-tower theology, and (2) the most important event in watchtower history.

are their changes new light according to proverbs, or refinement according to daniel and malachi?
