How about privilege. You have the "privilege" of cleaning the toilets at the KH. Really? I feel so blessed.

Anthony Morris - AP's in August, 900%, increase, yet decrease in BS's
by berrygerry inthe only video that i've found of tomo is 39:00 minutes long - the ending is missing.. various posts mentioned highlights of the tremendous witness in august, with a 900% increase in ap's, as well as some other magnificent accomplishment that i cannot locate.. then i painfully listened to the video to verify, and at about 38:00, tomo bemoans the downward trend in bible studies.. the best august of all-time, yet downward trend.. looks like the toilet bowl is swirling.. .

What do you know? That is a new one on me. I never heard that expression in or out of the KH. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and I called everyone brother or sister (last name). Or Mr or Mrs(last name) non witnesses. The problem was that I started to call my parent's close friends and family by their first names. My parents never corrected me. I guess I was raised by wolves. LOL I am from uncivilized California.

Those that married a Ministerial Servant, Would you do it again?
by Quarterback inso, did you make a good choice?
was waiting for a ms really worth it?.

I'm chuckling at the question because of the word "waiting". A 19 year old MS who was recommended for appointment by his PO father was living a double life. He persued a 15 year old new girl in the KH who had no idea. When she turned 16 he pressured her to become engaged. She hesitated, but since her father had just died, she was vulnerable. She married him at 17. 30 years, 2 children, and 2 disfellowshipings later, they divorced. Being a junior "made man" has NOTHING to do with character. Would I do it again? HELL NO!

"Take it up with God" -- the most arrogant statement I've heard -- Morris
by FatFreek 2005 inhttp://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/287214/2/us-zone-visit.
can you imagine if you were called into the back room, then giving that kind of answer to one of their kangaroo jc questionings?.
what's good for the goose is not good for the gander.

Fat freek, I'm glad you brought up this point because I found it probably THE most offensive thing he said. As you stated, he took it out of the catagory of opinion when he used that arrogant and blasphemeous (for those who still believe) phrase. I say to AMlll, "Show me the sriptures in the Bible supporting your personal opinions. Oh, there aren't any? They were accidently omitted? Well take that up with God!!!

Cognac, We all have a line where, if crossed by our partner, is a deal breaker. So many here have experienced this and their marriages ended. In my case it was finding out after 30 years that my husband had been cheating on me with multiple partners since the very beginning. The betrayal felt like a knife stabbing my heart. I literally vomited for days. When you feel a little more steady on your feet, form a plan for how you want to proceed. Stay in the drivers seat my friend. Keep us posted.
