  I worry about you all, regarding the promotion of "Steven Hassan's." book. Why?

  dear brothers and sisters, .

  i worry about you jumping on steven hassan's ideas which are not new, in fact, after reading a good chunk of his book today, nothing he has written is fresh and new to the psychology world.

  so far, i have been cautious about revealing who or what schooling and background i have.

  they called me tonight when i was feeling so bad with all of the stuff w/my mum and wanting to leave this planet and all.out of the blue.mr.and mrs f.,thankyou.if you only knew how timely and how much that meant...i still cant believe it.i care about these people and they care about me.so maybe thats the only good thing about being raised a diu.to leave,yadayadayada,and then meet folks like mr and mrs f.thank you from the bottom of this dark cold pit that has started to become my heart and soul.you sent down some lotion.in a basket....love you both.really.and thanks......;} peace out,my friends,i wil be ther ein tahoe ths july.i want to clap my eyes of people who have meant so much to me...everyone,come to tahoe this year!!!!!!please!!

  Aquagirl, We sure hope you and your mom can get some peace and rest. We're so new here we hadn't heard about Tahoe. So glad you mentioned it-can't wait to meet you, Mr. and Mrs, Flipper and all the other great people we are getting to know.

  Dagney, Of course I remember "rooming" MY parents stayed in a non JW home in '58 in Flushing NY. My dad was asst. caffeteria servant at the polo grounds. He had to arrive 2 weeks before the DC to prepare to serve meals to over 110,000. The DC lasted 8 days then he had to work nearly a week afterwards to dismantle etc. We we in a strangers home for nearly a month! That was the LAST time he went through rooming!To Designs,, DNCall, and BreakfastOC, we were all at Pasedena in 63! Maybe we had lunch together. I was a nerdy looking girl with coke-bottle glasses. LOL We'll have to meet up sometime.

  Were your parents as die hard as mine? They would only bring water and seat cushions. One little blanket was NOT enough! After I was married I went to Candlestick once. (I was only 17) This time I was prepared. Hot chocolate, sleeping bags, umbrellas, snacks, gloves, we had fun when my ex's Jack Witness friend shared his hot buttered rum with us. (wasn't that naughty?)
