don't let me die until i see them crash and burn!

if i die tomorrow my kids will be ok, they've got a great dad.. if i die tomorrow, my parents will still have each other.. if i die tomorrow, my siblings will still have each other.. but oh lord puh-leeze keep me on earth until they are defeated.

Who's Who in the WBTS

many are those of us here who often ask who's who in the wbts.

to simplify things it would be a good idea if a volunteer would create a web site specificaly with this aim.

it could lead also for a book.. if one needs to consult the biography of don adams, joel adams, karl adams, etc., this site would furnish the answer.

Oh yeah, by the way, Patrick LaFranca was the visiting Bethel speaker once when I was 23 years old. We worked in service together, and he made a pass at me. Really! a bonafide closet case heading up the priestly Religious Order...hmmm

Hot Cross Buns Stories!

my jw mother used to peel the cross off the hot cross buns at easter time...she said it was her way of compromising...so that we werent partaking of anything pagan.

did anyone have parents like mine...or am i the only one??

what was your understanding of easter eggs and hot cross buns at easter time?

a diet with less carbs would be a wise idea.
in fact a diet with less carbs would be wise
for everyone. this is not a personal attack...
only an attempt at bringing mankind into a healthier
state.

society cutting costs?!

i was wondering if you noticed the society cutting costs.. for example : the books are now printed on cheaper paper and have a soft cover.

also subscriptions are no longer mailed by post but will be brought to you by publishers (cutting cost and upping field service!

to flies in one!).

Last Magazine Arrived Today

after i got home from work i looked in my mailbox and lo and behold what do i find.......the very last magazine from the now discontinued subscription of the awake and wt.

no more will these magazines stack up on our kitchen table unread by my wife who claims to believe but almost never go to meetings.

no more will these magazines stack up on the bottom of the bookcase in our study.
