It is indeed unfortunate that many are
falling victim to the trappings of this world.
However, hold your heads up high my brethren. At our
last C.O. visit we had 10 percent inactive. However after
the loving sheparding provided by our elder body 3 returned to
preaching the kingdom of God on a regular basis. Our next C.O.
visit is this week..PRAISE BE to JAH as we hear the increase
of active publishers

CO says 35% inactive
by target inthe co visiting a congregation in madison wisconsin told them that 35% are inactive.
i wonder if this is the pattern with most other congregations.
that was about what it was in the last congregation i was in.

Why the disaster will hurt the WTS in the long run
by Seeker injws have been excited about events last week.
their sensibilities have been fine-tuned to expect armageddon at any moment, and last week's events seem extreme enough to lead to one thing after another.. i think these events will hurt the wts in the long run.
consider the typical long-term jw.

NATO The JW View?
by ballistic inwhilst not wishing to triplicate the nato thread, i wish to ask a question of a more religious nature concerning it.. the jehovah's witnesses place much emphasis on the scriptual relevance of the un but not nato.. what are the current thoughts on this in the organisation and is there likely to be any new light regarding the beasts of revelation yet again?.
this also raises the question of the king of the north and the king of the south because if there is a ww3, it is not going to be between russia and america or democracy and communism but democracy and terroism?
