  yesterday i asked you know and yardif why they frequent these apostate sites.i asked this question: "how do you justify coming on these boards?".

  you know's answer:"the way i understand it, it is a conscience matter.

  " when i asked whether he was serious, he replied:"i am serious".when i asked him for further clarification, he suddenly vanished from the conversation.

  I find it hard to believe that people still challenge You Know on visting apostates sites in contradiction of WT rules.

  In my somewhat limited memory (I don't read everything here) YK has written about:

  1) "apostate dubs" (talking about loyal JWs that worship the organization)

  2) the eventual destruction of the Watchtower by Jehovah himself

  3) controversial issues, like calling Jehovah "Master of Deception"

  4) sympathizing with other apostate agendas and admitting that he would have to question WT doctrine if the end of the system doesn't come soon

  You Know gives a rat's ass about what the "Faithful Slave" has to say about anything. He has a direct link to Jehovah and is firm in his beliefs. What the Watchtower says is irrelevant.

  I do not believe that the Watchtower or anyone in charge at Bethel is working for personal material gain (other than keeping their lifestyle), and. I don't think that the view you described is widely held by apostates either.

  Polyamorous/Open Relationships

  Jealousy tends to be the biggest problem with polyamorous relationships. Normally, there is a primary relationship (man & woman). Add to the mix one or more lovers/romantic interests for either one. At some point, whether it's months or years later, the original primary relationship is likely to change. Someone will fall in (or out of) love, or other circumstances will lend themselves to the switch. That causes a significant amount of stress on everyone involved, jealousy issues, drama, etc. Polyamory definitely has its pros, but equal amount of cons.

  As far as I know, polyamory does not necessarily have anything to do with having multiple sex partners *at the same time*. It is different from the swinger lifestyle in that respect.

  The only thing that bothers me about this post is YK's continued insinuation that Bill is working silentlambs for personal material gain, and we know he is not. So it's defamatory. Just because his help wanted ad said "merchandising" doesn't mean he's turning it into a commercial venture.

  has religion outlived its usefulness?.

  i am baseing this on the idea that there is no god and that religious views came about as part of mankinds development in understanding the world.. i would say that the reason many religions have survived so long is because , to one degree or another they were useful to live by.they helped people develope moral standards and principles , even if they werent always correct or followed by all.also they helped organise seperated societies and encouraged comunictation between them.in fact some religions could have sped up the development of this world, is it a coinsidence that the developed world followed the christian religious view?.

  but even thousands of years ago religion was hindering society when too rigidly applied, human development and advancement almost stopped in the muslim world when that took off.at one time what are now muslim contries wre highly advanced in mathermatics and science.could it be that just like the stagnation of the muslim world that the christian religion is just a hinderance to the mordern world preventing its futher development?.

My mom has been preaching about the benefits of magnets for awhile. I don't think they can make you live forever, but there is definitely the possibility that they increase your vitality. Am I crazy?
