29Lost my job cause of the dubs!
by kelpie inthese last two weeks have been just plain awful for me... 2 weeks i hope to never have to go through.
firstly my mum disowns me, then i lose my baby and get an infection from the miscarriage.
i go back to work after having 10 days off to find out i have lost my job.

we had the house all cleaned and daddy was on the way home from the airport...but didnt show up.

Gregory Peck has died...another legend is gone

he was 87. one of my favorites from the great days of movies, handsome and such a great actor.
he was absolutely brilliant in "to kill a mockingbird.

a 15 minutes segment, filled with a quack named william pollack, telling me that 2 year old boys who paint their nails and play with barbie dolls is a normal thing, was more than my paunch could handle.

Blackout...Totally disagree with the nail painting,sex change,etc. These are taught to the child as are most things, but nail painting, who does he watch do that, dad? Sex changes, thats a society issue, be happy with what you got.We have to remember these are children, not adults so they need to be taught how to live within thier gender, let the child decide when he or she grows up what they want to do, that's where the control issue comes into play. Society does have perameters for he or she, if your son or daughter behaved different from thier established gender and were constantly ridiculed for it, is that healthy? A child does not have enough life experiences to make those kind of life altering decisions, and for the parent to let a child have that kind of free will could do more harm than good.
I'm a momma's boy, so I can speak with some experience in this. There were some things I did have to change when I became an adult because of it. Do I hate my mother because of it, no. Did my mother let me paint my finger nails, hell no. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you teach a child too much then it is no longer natural development.

All hell has broke loose
by Yesterdays Child inwhen i got home from work last night my son was there and i was suprise to see him because it was meeting night and everyone else was gone.
then his mother comes in hmmmmmm "did your son tell you what he has done?
" nope well he has been having sex with his girlfriend the baptized pioneer elders daughter yikes my son (not baptized) and her were girlfriend and boyfriend untill her daddy stop them from seeing each other.

Speaking from experience, I don't know how much you can shelter him but not only will your wife blast him but the elders in the congregation will really ride him hard.You might want to encourage him to stand up for himself and if he doesn't want to explain himself to the elders then he shouldn't. There will be alot of talking behind his back and a general mistreatment of him by others because of it. He is going to need your help....and love.
