In no way are you rotten Tink. It took alot of strenght and courage to do that. Now your moving forward in your life. No sense being in a bad relationship. You've been through enough hurt.

i've watched a little bit of mtv lately and it's been absolutely bugging the crap out of me as i watch these inane music videos: men can be physically unattractive but still talented musically and get recognition, not the same for women!

they have to be perfect looking in every way on top of being able to at least carry a tune.

i'm sick of watching beyonce writhe and christina strut around half naked.

get this harsh ruling to the media...pronto!!

go to your search engine and enter newspapers....it'll give you a ton of 'em....start clicking, emailing them a copied and pasted version of the canadian justice's decision against vicki boer in her case....get the word out....also, do the same regarding the tv news media...cnn, larry king, 20/20, 60 mins., 48 hrs., etc.....flood them with emails.... .

Well for what it's worth, I just wrote a letter along with a link to the Detroit Free Press about Vicki. I hope they see the same injustice as all of us here do, and write an arcticle about her.

i have some unique and troubling news.

i just got off the telephone with scott boer, vicki boer's husband and before that vicki.

her honour, justice anne molloy, has just ruled on the legal cost issue in the boer case.

How Did 1975 Affect You?

i saw my uncle sell their house..... only later to feel and look like idiots.

i remember all the buzz about the end coming around my own house.

since i was a naturally inqusitive child (the question why is not good for theocratic advancement) i was made to feel stupid for questioning, even at 7 and 8 years old.

I was only six at the time, but I do remember alot of that time. My father was a die hard jw at the time. The family didn't miss a family study or a meeting. School was real tough for me, not being able to partake in any holiday activities. My father went so far as to have a teacher call him if I even had a sip of someone's punch from their birthday party. I can remember asking my father about high school once, and he told me I didn't need to worry about it, because we would be in the "new system" by then.

He was a very strick man. After 1975, I noticed his attitude changing after that though, he wasn't interested in helping me with my talks I would give.( I started when I was six) The family studies were no longer consistent. Around the same time, we changed halls we went to, the reason that I was given, had to do with a disagreement with the Elder's. I can only assume it had something to do with 1975. After that, I think he was just going through the motions. We moved to a different state in 1983. I think that gave him his opportunity to fade, by 1985 after moving to another state, he hardly went at all.

The only thing that made him go back to meetings again, was my mothers death in 1988. Sad, he was almost out, and for some reason mom's death made him go back.
