"My Child is Dead"
by Lee Elder inthis morning we published a very moving story written by a jehovah's witness whose 15-year-old son died supporting the watchtower's society blood policy.
to the best of my knowledge, this is the first time a jw parent has gathered up the courage to face down this monstrous policy after losing their child.
this is a very special person indeed and when we finally gather enough of these folks together and set them in front of the right attorney, the wts will be in for some serious litigation.. at present mary is in the midst of divorce from her jw husband and nailing down a custody agreement, so the identity of her and her son must remain anonymous.

The almighty dollar plays the biggest role,take for example the ads on tv to send money for needy children,it's a good cause but when you do send money they end up getting about a tenth of a dollar.This was a subject on 20/20 a couple years back,it's supposed to be a non profit orginization but the money does go to certain people outside the cause,so...you end up giving to the orginization instead.

Is It Fair To Discipline Born-Into-It's?
by Englishman ina born-into-it teenager or maybe someone in their early 20's, gets df'd for an unspecified offence.
later the df'd person protests that df'ing is unscriptural and inhumane, only to be told "you knew the score, you knew what would happen, it's your fault".. but is it?
maybe it might be fairer for a converted person to be df'd for breaking the rules, after all, a converted person has joined the jw's willingly and has therefore accepted the witness rules.

So let's say a person can't get baptized till say 20,how many of you would have been involved with someone and would have changed there minds before that,there are so many life changeing experiances,for instance my mother died when I was 18 after that it was down hill from there if that type of rule would be in place I would not have gone through it.By the way I was baptized at 15.Think about it, Jesus was not baptized until he was 30 because he was deemed mature,at 30 so if Jesus a perfect person was not baptised till then how can the WT expect a 15 year old to really know the decision he is making?

Question for good boy's gone bad?
by butalbee ini've read on this website countless threads about girls getting involved, falling head over feet in love with dubs.
supposingly good dubs, who want their cake with extra frosting on top, so to speak.... me being one of those girls, who fell in love with the wrong guy--knows exactly how they feel--one way or another they've gonna get hurt, and i think i've replied with the "run for your life" type statement--in truth, it is really the only sane choice.
i know why we fall helplessly infatuation w/ these dud's--they're charming, well mannered, well dressed, kind, innocently sexy, they look great in a suit, and i guess, in my case, i used to invision myself taking off his suit: first the tie, then unbuttoning his shirt with my mouth, and well--okay--i am again meandering off the path.. here is my question and it is for all the male jw's that may read this: if you know it is wrong to get involved with worldly women, then why do you pursue us?????

You may already kmow this BB but "wordly" men do the same thing,case in point my brother-in-law never a dub is divorcing after only three years crushing his wife,it's there be it a dub,catholic,protestant ect.I had my heart crushed by a woman dub so gender is of no matter.
