  KNOW I HAVE SEEN IT ALL

  i just talked to a friend that knows a jw that went to the district convention here in michigan a few weeks ago,this jw's father happens to be an elder.this jw told my friend that there was a person that was handing out fliers saying,"stop supporting child abuse" it went futher to quote dateline and other references about silent lambs.this jw also said that they called the police to try and stop this person from handing out fliers,but all the police could do was get them off the silverdomes property,so then this person was handing out fliers on the sidewalk.this jw went futher and said that the elders were going around trying to find out who had the fliers and confiscate them.this whole thing only went on for a short while as there was a brother that was directing people around this person so they would not get or see the flier.now you know if the role was reversed the jw's would be crying foul,i guess they forget how many times they went to court so they could "preach".

  To My Mother

  at about 6:30 this evening my mother passed away.. .

  the best mother and the best wife anybody could ever be blessed with.

  she was not only my mother, she was my friend.

  Moe I'm so so sorry.I've been there and know the hurt,my heart goes out to you and your children,if it helps I always try and smile whenever I think of my mother so I don't think about the passing so much.Hugs and kisses(((moe)))

  Hi perfection,I'm sorry for your anxiety on the matter but there really is no "clean" break sometimes in life things come down to the nike saying "just do it" you will constantly fight yourself because there is no easy way out.But you do have the comfort of your friends here always,let us know how your doing on this matter soon.

  Help--Car Ins.

  i just found out that my car insurance will not be renwed next month because my agent is no longer with that company.

  so now i'm shopping around for some and was wondering if anyone knew of some good sites or plans that could help me out.

  i'm in fl btw if that helps any!.

  Try and find a compny that handles different insurance companies,they will be able to compare and find the best one for you,but you should'nt have to be dropped simply because of that,I would think another agent could help.

  Run don't walk to the police station,tell the police about the window in particular,if no one has cleaned it since insist on a detective coming out and seeing if there are other finger prints than those known to be in the house.

  i can only do this communication face to face only, over a short period of time, no other way.. wondering about the possibility of one or two of the counsellor's and/or psychologists here offering their services towards the enabling provision of an online community toolbox here, on site, with simon's permission, not just deprogramming and what to expect during the process, but also enabling advice that gives the individual free imformed choices and/or options to ease their passage onwards with their lives.. your space .....   WOW! Thanks for the offer Francois! Well here goes.My main issue is friends,I know that I have been so programmed by the borg that even after 12 years it's still hard for me not to be so critcal of others,by that I mean I'm so picky about who would make a good friend that they may as well be a jw.I could honestly say that since I've been df'd I can count on one hand who I could call a friend,it's not like I live in a cave I meet plenty of people in my day to day life,it's just hard not to look at those "faults" that a "wordly" person has.The other thing coinsides with making friends,trying to loosen up,I swear I know sometimes I'm so uptight that I could turn a piece of coal into a diamond,if you know what I mean.They both come from the borg and I have not found a way to fix it yet.Coming to this board has helped in that I know I'm not alone with these conflicts from the programming of the borg,and I've been reading coc and that really opens one's eyes.That's the long and short of it.

  How do YOU deal with it??

  hello all- recently joined, had some probs getting logged in, but here at last.... anyway, the question is: for those that can relate, when your heart feels heavy from the hurt, pain, regret, sorrow, bitterness, anger... and the lost years, stolen time, forsaken friends, broken relationships, wasted energies, abandonment, and lost love weighs on you --> caused by wt org.

  stress.... how do you get past it?

  what heals you, brings you relief, rescues you from total worthless feelings of inadequacy, comforts your wounds, keeps you from jumping on the train tracks?.

  Howdy and welcome bad associashun,having a person or person's that can relate to the experiance helps alot.I have tried to talk to "other" friends and when trying to explain it to them they look at me with a blank stare.I also found that even though there are regrets in the past there is nothing that can be done about it,learning from the past and focusing in the future takes some of the pain away,because you now know that your making a future for yourself that you can be happy and proud of,without looking over your shoulder for someone shaking there finger at you in disapproval.Gathering control of your life gives you power of choice and freedom to think and believe in a life that makes you happy.The past is just that the past to keep looking at it and living it brings you down futher and won't let you heal and make that happy and lively future.
