  when you are seeing someone, what will turn you off or cause you to want to give the other person the flick?

  i have talked to a number of female friends and they agree weak or 'sparkless' kissing is a killer.

  (see thread on kissing) for me...and i know this sounds shallow... lousy sex is a killer.

  Well, I was on a first date with a girl and the subject eventually turned to sex, and she started talking about the hair on her nipples! After hearing that not only was I turned off but I was ready to barf!

  Militant Apostates

  i'm wondering if there are many truly militant apostates out there....... some real god hating watchtower bashing hard guys....i just read the "bill bowen update" thread and feel that all opposition is good opposition, and knowing that the wt society can see any posts we make, also feel its a shame they can see squabbles among their enemies.

  Herk,LMAO! That's great!

  I would hate to see any violence for one simple reason, if people start this kind of behavoir then it will make it tough for all of us who are just trying to make a "normal" life. The wt would label anyone df'd or dissed an apostate and hence all scrutiny would be on most of us. It would also make it hard for Simon to run this board, as he would be questioned constantly if there were any funny stuff going on.

  Predictions for New Harry Potter Book.

  all you adults out there that are waiting as eagerly as your kids for the new harry potter book, make your predictions now.. like everyone else i know, i started reading the first book to my kids and couldn't put it down.

  great books that i wish had been written when i was a kid.. but the books are written with a lot of parallels to other famous stories, like lord of the rings and star wars.. j k rowling was interviewed last night on bbc and discussed some of the things in the book, but the main thing was, is that she has killed off one of the main characters.

  my guess is...albus dumbledore ( obi wan kenobi ) harry's mentor.. what do you think?

  Well start your engines, I've been talking to some big fans of harry pothead and found out that at the borders book store you can pick up a copy at midnight tonight 6/20/03 and they are already making plans to stand in line at midnight....loonies!

  Ok, I get the idea of chronology, did the wt delete this because they were dead wrong or because someone else came up with it? How flawed are the dates and are they just make believe?

  Is it OK for men to cry?

  is it wrong for a man to cry when he feels pain, either physical or emotional pain.

  we all know that women cry when they become emotional, but for a man, is it appropriate or not appropriate to cry.

  is it seen as weakness for a man to cry?

  Society has set parameters on men crying, I don't think that they are quite accurate. I do believe that there are appropriate times for a man to cry, and that if all crying is controlled to the point of not crying, then it could be emotionally damaging.

  there has been some post made here to this discussion board that have been completely out of context to this discussion board, some of them had really irritated me to an extent that i said some pretty bad things to certain individuals.

  it has weighed on my conscience for some time amd today especially.

  i attend a baptist church and i am a man who has turned his life over to christ but found myself indulging in conversation that led me to act as if i were of the evil one.
