  No Respect

  i have a friend who refuses to tell me how old he is.

  he claims that people often judge you or pigeon-hole you when they find out how old you are.

  i have tried to argue against this point, but i have recently realized how true this is.

  Age? big deal. I have met older people who are less mature than my grand-daughter. I have met young people who are old souls.

  I have been called this on several times...even when I was a jw.

  I have revealed my age, ethnicity and gender on the board and I know I am treated accordingly.

  Sweety, not all of us do that....I know I don't

  If it helps SP, there were quite a few people here that thought I was older than I actually am. The only reason they found out otherwise is, by the new profile on the left.

  some here may have noticed that recently teejay and i got into it a little bit on a thread i started about the locking of threads.

  about two years ago teejay and i got into it a few times in other threads.

  as much as i thought teejay was an intelligent guy and i have always gotten a kick out of his sarcastic sense of humor i still thought he loved to stir things up and take a few unnecessary jabs at people simply for the sake of jabbing them and causing trouble.. teejay called me tonight.

  Larc has spoken with tj, and says he's a great guy. That's good enough for me, and your endorsement is also good enough for me.

  Interesting. I have met with Larc as well, and I think he is an ok guy also. Teejay and I have had "words" as well, maybe not like him and Dave, but "words" none the less. I guess I need to take a step back and ponder about this thread.

  That is the real problem though, talking on a forum. You can't see where the person is coming from.

  Look for some pm's guy's!
