  if mankind needed to be redeemed from sin and death, why didn't the redemption happen as soon as jesus successfully lived his entire life without sin and sacrificed his life?

  if he was successful, the price was paid and we'd all be living forever.

  it's all bullshit, or jesus fucked up and sinned, so it nullified his sacrifice.

  hi guys,.

  it's been a while since i posted here, but i feel like posting again.. it's hard sometimes to find the energy to post here after i expend all my time working a full time job and pretending i care about the wt$ at the same time.. i've been trying to slowly wake my girlfriend up ever since i first posted here, and i must say it is a long waiting game that i am playing right now.

  almost all my efforts are dismissed and i've been slowly losing hope.. anyways, what i meant to really post here today is about old publications.. honestly anything that has to do with the watchtower and jdubs, as of recently makes me feel like vomiting.

  Most main stream Christian religions are milk toast. They preach love, don't take your neighbors wife or cow ect. They skip the bat crap crazy BS that is most of the bible. Lot a few miles out of the city having to have sex with his daughters, Jephthah burning his daughter as a sacrifice for god helping him win a battle, god asking Abraham to sacrifice his son but not really. God killing a baby as punishment for King David killing a man and taking his wife. Its full of crazy ass nonsense.

  so according to the generation teaching i knew lincoln.

  Education vs JW?

  i am 15 years old and recently just doubting this whole religion that was introduced to me when i was very small from a very good family friend.

  doubt obviously comes with shame and guilt and i hate those feelings because it feels like i'm betraying this whole organization that i grew up in.... anyways, i've been doing research and found that jehovah's witnesses dislike/shun kids who attend colleges & universities that are more than 4 years long?

  have you heard of this?

  when i was looking at prepping back in the 90s i was told by several elders that we needed to just rely on the org and jehovah and not prep.

  i started to put away vacuum sealed bags of rice beans and spices anyway.

  now they have this go bag crap.

I started to put away vacuum sealed bags of rice beans and spices anyway. Now they have this go bag crap. I left in the mid 90s so from all I see I don't think I would recognize the cult if I went to the hall today. These go bags to me are just the beginning. I bet in future they will get the bunker mentality. They will start to prep. What do you all think? I differentiate what I do as a preper and what they do in that SHTF can happen as we saw in the ongoing virus situation. They are waiting on the end of the world from a supernatural thing. What ever reason I agree with prepping but this was frowned on until recently.

  Reel to reel tapes and old Watchtower literature

  it's been an emotional few weeks going through old watchtower literature, i mean old.

  i have saved many things, some you have never seen.

  particularly related to 1975, i have wts literature, even a big newspaper article about the 1975 prediction.. today, i started going through the reel to reel tapes.

  RTR are coming back in style and are not cheap. We had an old RTR tape that had my wife's family on it. I bought one off of Ebay and we played it and recorded it then sold it and actually made money on the tape deck. I never got into RTR so don't need it. I have 4 turn tables though.

  did anyone catch michael palin's travel documentary in north korea?

  it was a fascinating insight into such a secretive and controlled country.

  totalitarian, suppressed and yet i found a few similarities to jw mentality.. particularly, this segment, where michael asks his handler about the limitations on freedom she has.

  Its all fear. The JW cult uses it and the NK leadership uses it by fear of death or harsh penalty. I don't believe she would not criticize the glorious leader because it would be criticizing her self. We all or most of us criticize our self's. They know in NK if they do and are caught it would most likely mean death.
