In context it looks like this to me : eat anything you want ((--blood included?--)), refrain only if you know it will bother someone else's coscience. So I suppose if you're eating with an unbeliever, Christian conscience is a non-issue.

I've never seen this scripture quoted in the WT
by UnConfused in1 cor 10:27. if an unbeliever invites you and you want to go, eat whatever is set before you, making no inquiry on account of your conscience.. .
.
i suppose that would mean it's ok to go eat with unbelievers?.

Interesting fact in the NNWT

the title christ has five.
the name satan has twelve.

I grabbed the NWT that was closest to me (1984 revised) and counted 8 references to Jesus and 12 to Christ.......more evidence of the dumbing down of the rank and file....reduce their cross reference capabilities and stuuf their heads full of J-dub garbage.

ANYTHING that my mind tried to convince my heart was truth, when my heart totally rejected it was evidence I had stopped thinking... All of everything mentioned above. Finally it was too much to bear and the heart said: "OK, brain, either we get the hell out of this organization alive, or end living". 7 years ago and will not stomach the idea of returning.

Extrapolate the reasoning here and one could claim Adam and Eve are of the same generation as we are. Never before has such pretzel logic been presented for supposed 'proof'of anything. Not to mention NO Biblical basis......and don't even try to bring up that lonely scripture in Exodus that can be shredded in a flash if presented as 'proof' of over-lapping generations. All a big, bad G.B. joke.

I think the Malaysia airline flight was hijacked by.....who knows?....Terrorists, human trafficers, drug smugglers, apostates, GB wannabe's?.....then flown fast and under-the-radar to a clandestine destination in a small country in a land and time far away. When the hi jackers feel the time is right ---and have hidden their hostages here, there, and everywhere, ---a statement claiming responsiblity will be made, and ransom of some sort will be demanded.

TRUTH: There is no "new light"! Only old B.S. ---gathered up, and recycled as 'food at the proper time'. "The geat tribulation is so close" that I have grown old, raised a family, have grandkids and great-grandkids, retired, returned to the work force, and wasted a lot of time in expectation of the-forever-getting-closer-great-tribulation. The real Great Tribulation is waiting for the great tribulation.

Hi Jon....Just be honest with your wife.....tell her your doubts and concerns. Tell her why your quitting meetings and field service and all aspects of the cult that you have no intentions of supporting. Tell her you research independently because you need to see 2 sides and the edge of every coin. However be prepared. This is the approach I took, and lived thru hell for 2 1/2 years because my wife couldn't accept that I was done. My marriage is a sham right now.....we can't talk of anything meaningful, but the screaming has ended and she has accepted my expalnation that I am just another worldly guy. I do not force my thoughts on her, but if she starts to get self-righteous and preachy, I just remind her of the U.N. and that the Candace Conti case is still unsettled. She heard me shut down the elders re: the U.N. and I explained to her that the dubs were just Catholics as far as pedphilia was concerned. Be honest with her and fade.....don't burn your bridges.

the family has full intentions of pursuing a civil litigation against norris and the watchtower society that harbors pedophiles..

Counteract jw.org August 2014 Campaign!

many of those who the witnesses prey upon will no doubt search for additional information on the internet.. let us use the extra attention against the watchtower!.
- there are many of us on active on this site.. - most of the widley used search engines (google, yahoo, bing etc) show autocomplete results.. .

i will repost this question under the post "counteract jw.org august 2014 campaign" participating in that idea was what prompted me to open an account on the jw site in the 1st place.
other than that the whole thing makes me want to puke..
