well, i have been studying jws religion ,my cousin is a jw and i have visited him a lot of times.i have watched his way of living and things like that.i have been at the district convention last week.i read so many things from both sides.i came to the conclusion that if someone believes god exists then it is so easy and he should be a jehovah's witness.sadly its true and that is why so many people are and every year they baptised even more.. stories about jws reducing?wrong.. facing problems?

false.. everybody in the convention had an ipad ,iphones etc with the bible in it.

What on earth happened to the magazines?

for the first time in years today.

to say that it took me five minutes to read the whole thing would be to flatter the rag.

it doesn't even seem to contain actual articles any more, just headings and bullet points and pictures.

Factfinder - at the end of the day though, those magazines you like reading still, (w & g) are unlike any others, many are out to educate and sell of course but they know in order for people to buy them they have to be full of excellent journalism, great articles. W and g are the to tell you that just must become a jw or die a horrible death. Interesting articles about the moon, the sun or insects do not disguise the actual message.

has anybody here experienced a bonafide, real, true incident in whicy 'demons' actually interacted with you or did something 'supernatural' that left you convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that satan and his demons exist??.

Newyork44M - that story was doing the rounds when I was a jw years ago, it was either at an assembly or possibly in the magazines.

Scriptural list of gods anger?

can anyone point me in the right direction, a good descriptive list of gods anger, genocide, vengeance and general things that we would view as bad and the scriptures next to it to show where these things are in the bible?.

Yeah, on second thought I'd need to agree with you LizO, this is probably not the place for you. You've started off angry here, not the best start.

Like you I want evidence so when I see a post that says Rutherford had mistresses and I was unaware of that, I don't repeat that to anyone else, I'll happily wait till I see evidence. Just because there's not a link next to a post doesn't mean it's not true but rather than get annoyed about it maybe you should address the specifics and ask those individuals to provide the evidence, once done if you still don't agree then that's fine, that's allowed.

The GB might not be sitting there in Bethel 'knowing' they are lying (although some I suspect are) but a lie is a lie is a lie, as it were. I don't need to add anymore examples, there's been many quoted here, if that isn't enough to help you see how the wbts runs then nothing will.

p.s I never once got the impression that Ray Franz was bitter. He was sad. He came across as humble to me and freely admitted his own faults, unlike the wt masters of today. Food for thought.
