Yeah cryin and all that bs.im repentant i wanna do better did me good. it really did.and when the elders were talking to me about what i need to do to get back in good standing all i hear is (blah,blah,blah). then they say....well weve managed to keep this on the downlow, we know ur a ms. and we want to keep it quiet.so all you need to do....(right then sumthin in my head clicked and said Will?....WTF r u doin?...why r u dealing with this bs??...)....next words outta my mouth were u know what fuck you,you,and you.they protested and asked me to come back and i left. so bottom line. i was one of the popular,well liked ms. in the congo. and because of my postion and my half assed repentance they were gonna let me slide....thats bs.

i have been informed on good authority (a dub for 27 years) that you cannot get disfelowshiped for committing a wrongdoing, only for being unrepentant.. can anyone tell me if this is true or not, and if it is not where the misunderstanding comes from?

Patriot, good point. I also remember that happening to my ex-congo. We recieved a bill with the same excuse you did and had to pay $1,400.00. So donation basis or not ,they will always get there money. If this is all legit,concerning the recall of c o's and do's,i think its an "all hands on deck,man your battle stations! we have a multiple bogeys in the ex-jw sector. Wait on my (borg) call. and open fire"...pretty interesting stuff.

as hard as it is to imagine this, jws are married to a publishing company that does this and many other injustices all in the name of god.

wow! i knew there was something up about those pictures. when i was younger (early teens)..i would somehow be entranced in those pictures,espically in the revelation book,often to the point that i was transfixed to them. i remember many times sitting in the bookstudy and my dad had to virtually bruise my arm to get me to stop looking at them. the one that intrigued me the most was the picture of the horsemen. something odd about that picture..

or did being a jw simply turn you off religion altogether.
i feel i would like to still belong to a religious group (that's just in my personality) but of course, i would feel really guilty at first going in to "babylon the great".
