fort worth -- a north texas businessman has been jailed after co-workers reported an image of child pornography showed up on a screen as he gave a computer slide presentation recently.

james andrew smith of denton was in the mansfield jail under $300,000 bond after he was charged with two counts of possessing child pornography and one charge of promoting child pornography.

Did being a witness bring out the best or worst?

a person years ago made a comment to me, about witnesses.

they said that in their opinion, being a witness brought out the extreme in a person.. for example, if they were untrusting, they would trust less.. if they were vindictive by nature, they would become more hateful and vindictive.. if they were kind and loving, they would even be more so.. basically, whatever type of person they were, being a witness would intensify that persona.. have you found that to be true?

maybe you knew someone before they came a witness.

being a witness made me an insecure peon who tried to do anything i could to make the "proper" impression.to this day my self esteem sucks.but now , i can kick a lil ass and looking back all the old memories make me hot! so i guess it brought out the anger.but while i was in it brought out the stupid moron that had no life and did everything for the org.

why do most of you blame being a jw for all your problems?if you hadn't have became a jw you would have been a catholic ,a mormon ect.ect.ect.

or even worse.

i dont blame ALL my problems on the jw's.however like someone else said before when you are born and raised a jw you are not allowed to do,or participate in things that are normal.now granted other religons dont allow alot of things but come on. birthdays,holidays,watching certain movies,listening to certain music?.....those are all bad things right?. well last i checked they were all normal things people do to enjoy life and in the Jw's its all bad and if you do it you are shunned,ignored,and mentally abused into thinking its all bad.im sure there are other religons that have similar rules etc. this isnt a pissing match,but when you are taught all your life its either jw's way or no way, when you finally wise up and start enjoying life it does add to other problems.buit they are a source of alot of ex-jw's problems.i dont hardly view it as a cop out.

Orange Butterfly

everyday, when things get a little hectic, i escape to a little spot outside the school where i work so i can sit, relax, and have a ciggie.

for the last two weeks, every single time i go outside and sit down (enjoying the beautiful cool weather for a change) there has been an orange butterfly that lands on some wildflowers not 2 feet from where i sit.

today, i went outside again, he wasn't there (as usual) and the very moment i sit down, there he comes flying in.

I Need To Gain Weight??

i am so bummed!

i went to the doctor yesterday and he said that i was too thin and that i need to gain 5 or 10 pounds.

i don't understand why.

i have a super fast metabolisim. i hate it. i started using creatine and protein shakes(eas sports is what i use.just go to gnc.or gnc.com.). i put on 20 lbs in a lil less than 2 mnths.but the key is to work out while ur taking it.cuz u can get fat or u can get built.good luck.

Do you have many friends?

years ago, everybody seemed to talk to their neighbors, and knew just about everything about them, where they work, knew alot about them.

but now a days, we know much more people on the internet, than real live people in front of us.

we are a generation of computer addicts.

one thing that i truly hate about the jw's is them always instilling thier sh*tty ideas,trust only jw's and no one else. well being raised a jw. thats what i always believed and did.and unfortunantly now its very hard to get and keep friends.i just moved to this town so i am relying on my fiance for friends,but still i personally have no friends at all. i have aquantices(sp),but no friends...(flesh and blood friends that is)...but i have you guys and that counts for a whole lot.now only if you guys lived near me it'd be alot better.
