  MAJOR REQUEST ON THE WTS/UN SCANDAL

  hello all.. i was hoping a few of you would do me a favour.

  a local news editor has asked me a question.

  he has asked why is this un/wts story important to the local community?.

  Hi Hawkaw,

  there is one point I want to highlight:

  This matter IS important cause it made the WTBTS lie in only 2 weeks.

  In GB an official statement says it was for getting a library card.

  In Portugal the WTBTS Spokesman says it was for helping with human rights in 3rd world countries, and the same branch wrote a letter to a brother after 1 month waiting making the same statement.

  The austrian branch said, that issue is all nonsense cause the only involvement that had been there was a unique invitation to a conference of the UN.

  So it is important AT LEAST because a well known relious org is telling lies all over the world about this issue.

  WTBTS & OSCE etc.

  it would be hard for the wtbts to deny their open connections to osce and other political forums.. http://www.jw-georgia.org/eng/rights/00octoscehrwf.htm.

  this link is from an official jw website, and i believe those interested in such connections should take a long and hard look at the russiand and other jw sites.

  it seems they are more "open" as to admit, and not least - use - their un connections as a tool of the trade.. i have reasons to believe the wtbts will try to use as defence that "human right issues are non-political" - and as such say the un connection is really a non-issue.

  Hi Folks,

  while saying that the library card was THE reason for getting into DPI we should not forget that the portuguese branch stated to a newspaper interview as in a written letter to a JW that THE REASON where human right affairs to help the bros around the world.

  The letter (wich Kent has) was an answer wich took 1 month to be written after a first request.

  at least in germany each congo "donates" his kingdom hall to the wtbts if the congo is dissolved (wich never happened yet, but the wtbts is well-prpared for a massive drop-out).. the assembly halls in germany where property of local corporations.

  as they should be also "donated" to the wtbts if the local corporation would be dissolved since 2 years the halls belong directly to the watchtower.

  (the wtbts gave orders to dissolve the owner-corporations...).

  this are interesting remarks.

  BUT- what happens with the ULTIMATE holding. Are there public docs wich state to where should go the propertie of WTBTS of NY?

  As Kent said once: Follow the money...

  (By the way: wich corporation owns Patterson & Wallkill?)

  If those corporations would be dissolved - is there a written rule who will get the benefits?

  JW killed building a KH in Germany

  yesterday, at a construction site where a new kh is to be built,a crane fell down, killed a sister and injured some others severly.

  local tv reported that now police has started investigations against the crane operator.

  building a kh in germany is done by voluntary workers that are not properly insured by the wts but are dependant on their own insurances.

  in 1990 the german branch sought recognition as a public corporation.

  the austrian branch did a similar thing.

  in 1991 lloyd barry signed for associating as an ngo with un's pr-department.

  as of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.

  and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .

  after you look at kent's web site and you people still think this it is a fake letter, phone paul hoeffel yourself at (212) 963-8070.. hawk

  Anybody noticed?
  The WTBTS is not listed on the directory any more. Must have been removed today. I checked it out on a regular basis.
