I remember years ago telling my brother-in-law that the next convention I go to will be in 2014. He laughed (despite himself). Honestly, I don't think I'm going to go.

by Calebs Airplane inlurkers.... check your calendars... october 2, 2014 is only 500 days away.... look for illogical nu-lite from the wt in publications and conventions that will attempt to explain this away.. they've already bought themselves some time by splitting a "generation" into 2 overlapping generations... still, they have a lot of explaining to do... this should get really interesting... stay tuned.... .

I've thought for a long time that this is what it boils down to. This idea. It's so rude! The height of it is that people are than offended that you find this offensive.
The reason why God loves me more? Does it really matter? Saying it to anybody makes them pissed off. In the case of Jehovah's Witnesses they then can feel justified in their persecution complex. How absolutely delightful!

became baptized when i was 14, started pioneering when i got 18 and i've been ms for a number of years.

The truth just ain't the same any more.

they say the love is not there like it used to be, and it's become less personal.. anyone heard similar comments from oldies?.
we know the 'truth' ain't the truth in the first place, but i have a feeling there may be a lot of older ones hanging on just because it's all they've ever known, and it the alternative, that there is no paradise around the corner like they've always been taught us unthinkable..

I haven't been to a meeting since 2001 with any sincerity.
I remember reading on here a few months ago the picnics and the like 'discouraged'. Would somebody care to elaborate? How is this done? KM? It wasn't going this way at all when I left... hospitality, etc.. was a virtue.

Something that's not mention yet... and that the experts think mattersis an hourglass shape. Even though the size may vary considerably the ratio is considered attractive to men. It is to me.
Also, I have found that I find a woman becomes actually more physically attractive after getting to know and like her. It also goes the other way.... somebody I deemed very attracive at the outset goes down in my estimation when I view them as an airhead. Not trying to be harsh.

I always found it unsettling that we couldn't even get through to christians in a christian nation... nevermind all the chinese that hadn't even heard of the WT nevermind all the other 'weird' religions. [this is how I remember thinking of it all]
If Armageddon comes this weekend they're all going to die?
Did I really believe that deep down? Probably not... I pushed those unpleasant questions out of my mind to soon to know.
