perusing the coverage of the 2013 dc spewings about apostates, the wt claims that apostates are "liars" and speak "twisted things".
this is their definition of apostates.. now, the reality is that sites such as paul's excellent jwfacts.com, books like coc and isocf, by ray franz, the works of olaf jonsson, penton and others, all write what is true !.
we are careful on here to present that which is true, at least i hope we are !.
It occurs to me that it really is one of those loaded words, isn't it?
Apostate!
oohh... spooky.
I believed... now I don't...
If they want to call me an apostate, go nuts.
They can call me a honky and lumberjack, too.
Don't give a poo.
Just a name to call somebody knowing it's very likely to upset them... don't rise to it.
many internet sites claiming that god's names is jehovah.. do you believe it is the name of god?.

Yeah, sorry, could have done that for ya.
I read it on the plane and remember laughing a lot... wicked humour and educational.
In short... this book is 'Harry recomended', lol.
this year as with every previous year a letter was read on how we can honor jehovah by helping to clean the stadium where the district convention is held.. does the watchtower get a break on the rent if the dubs do a major cleaning of the stadium?
sounds like slave labour to me.. .
hoser.
On this subject:
I remember when in my teens some 'brothers' talking about the society coming out with their own brand of cleaning supplies (because so many of them were janitors and window cleaners) and they'd sell this for low prices to the faithful.
I there any truth to this at all?
many internet sites claiming that god's names is jehovah.. do you believe it is the name of god?.
That's all I remember...
Book is called 'Don't know much about the bible' from the 'Don't know much about...' series I think.
Probably can find it.
It's been a while since I've left... sorry for the fuzzy details.
preacher boy!
the movie!.
scene 1: a sad, tall, solitary figure trudges through the snow up to a blockbuster video store in a strip mall that could have been anywhere.
Preacher Boy! The Movie!
Scene 1: A sad, tall, solitary figure trudges through the snow up to a Blockbuster Video store in a strip mall that could have been anywhere. He presses his nose up against the glass so he can see past the 'Closed' sign into the abandoned interior.
*start music: Cher - If I could turn back time
He wipes away a solitary tear falling down his right cheek... the grimace is slowly transformed into a subtle smile.
As the camera from the overhead helicopter zooms out he begins dancing around with face in full smile mode, arms high and spinning around.
*Fade to black.

@Vidiot: You doin' scene 2?
many internet sites claiming that god's names is jehovah.. do you believe it is the name of god?.
I remember being freaked out when looking at a timeline in the book 'Don't know much about the bible'.
It pointed to a spot that the 'Cult of Yahweh' began.
Freaked me out... but deep down.. I know that it's true.
i am one of the few people on earth who never had a jehovah's witness knock on my door.
my wife was the first witness i ever met.
i did notice certain personality traits after being around some of the people who left the religion.
One of the things my wife complains about to this day is the young JW men that think they are hot stuff when in fact 'the world' wouldn't pay them much attention.
They often get women above their league because there's simply not enough available men to go around.
Medium fish in a tiny pond ... and after a while they believe they're really something special. = 'I'm the man!'
We've been out for years and she's still disgusted, lol.
tantrums, occur frequently.
often after a little boy realizes.
that he won't get his way this time,.
Very cool stuff.
Fifteen? Wow.
i'm always hopeful but mostly doubtful that they will get out of her..
I don't know about my mom ever getting out... too heavily invested in years, friendships, saving face, etc.
My little sister, yeah, I want her out, but it's her life. Given up? Nah, I don't give up well on anything.
