  Ray Franz cash pay off...?

  when ray franz left brooklyn, he and his wife were given a $10,000 pay off according to crisis of conscience.. was this an act of christianity or was it a pay off to keep him silent about the 'inner workings of the borg'?.

  i wondered this because he put up with a lot of defamatory gossip before, after two years, deciding to write his book?.

  any one any ideas?

  Try writting a book, documented similar to CoC, and see how long it takes you to finish...

  I do think "the judge" relatives did sign a silence contract.

  I you break a silent contract a lawsuit can follow your relatives after you die...

  What i mean is only skin deep, that's as far as i can go.

  I am under the impression that the 80 years old man ended his investigations where he started, and gave up.

  Seem like originally he proposed to explain the origin of life my scientific method, but his tools failed him.

  Did he tried NERSC? (IBM with 6,080 processors for running scientific applications).

  Anyway it is like the internal combustion engine equiped with four wheel, steering wheel, radar and autopilot trying to figure out by herself where she came from.

  Those who find god, one way or another, have been experiencing profound emotions or are/were in a questionable state of mind.

  At least the 80 years old man seem to ran out of cpu power to continue his DNA + calculations, that's HIS problem.

  Besides, the issue is a personal issue between an elusive god and each living creature.

  For all practical purposes, SO FAR, If you can't "see" god it does not exist.

  What's the point? ok, if i find a 350$ bill i have never seen, it will make me feel better,.even dreaming about it.

  A whole bunch n their right mind, experiencing no problems and doing honest search never "find" anything...

  why so much mystery?

  during the mean time take care of your backyard,

  whatever is going to happen is going to happen.

  Are people intrinsically good or bad?

  one of the things we were constantly taught as jws was that the vast majority of the world are intrinsically bad; wicked enough to warrant destruction at armageddon.. last xmas, a film "love actually" (sentimental tat really but who says we don't need sentimentality occasionally) was based on the idea that everywhere people are in love and being loved.

  also, a couple of tv documentaries shown recently in uk, michael palin's 'himalaya' and ewan mcgregor's 'long way round' had these intrepid travellers visiting remote corners of the earth.

  it was striking just how friendly and helpful people can be to strangers.

  Too much is being done by humans that negatively affect other humans and animals

  Few actions are taken to intentionally and positively affect other humans, environment and animals, even when it does not cost anything to do them.

  She take care of the horse so she can ride the animal, sooner or later.

  What's wrong?

  Lack of education? Hard to beleive.

  Where is the "natural" balance?.

  WT teaches there are invisible "enemies"...

  Well, common human negative atitude is sometimes amazing, for no reason.

  It is frustrating and a reason why, since i can remember,. i questioned WT teaching about the origin of evil.

  In other words since a fully good god created all... how could any of his creatures become bad.

  Not going back until WT give me a better answer.

  my catholic friend and i were talking the other night about the virgin mary.

  she doesn't even believe that she was a virgin and she doesn't believe in the immaculate conception.

  if you think about it logically today, if you had a fiance that went to visit relatives for a few months and then came back pregnant and told you it was god's child, would you believe it?

  this is something that has been tossed around for some time, but something occurred to me: if ancient humans did have advanced technology, such as space travel, we would know about it.

  the reason i say we would know about it is because they would most certainly have left objects in orbit around earth.

  yes, the low-orbit objects would have eventually fallen back due to the drag of the upper atmosphere.

  i swap steam-power for fuelcell power anytime,

  Manpower problems at Bethel reason behind delay in annual report

  i was talking to a ministerial servant last week, and he said that a bethel elder told him the reason why the 2004 annual service report was .

  delayed, was because of man power problems.

  they simply don't have enough staff at the us branch, because the annual report is already .

  Is there any other religion more concerned with grow and numbers?

  What that tells you,?

  Only corp concerned with $$ profits do that, that's their goal and sure do the drilling on the the selling team.

  I will never forget a jw prospect asking

  how could you measure spirituality with numbers.

  He became elder (still is), i could never forget his retorical question, it really helped me to walk out.

  by cousin once asked me about my now ex girl friend (TALL)

  "Where did you get this nephilim girl? i though they were all gone!"

  I dumped her... again he said "how could you do that to such a beatifull blonde nephilim" ? lol

  I said: i did it for being "blond", (no kidding)

  LOL, that was 6 years ago but until now,

  anytime we talk about her (there is always a lot to talk about her) we refer her NOT by her name but "the nephilim" (roflmao)

  Instead of joining UN, WT should join the above movement.

  Or is the movement a religion, covered up, part of "babylonethegrape"?

  If not then, they could join and do more "incidental preaching" (the excuse to join).

  WT can start a new corporation (just one more) from ground zero. Any wt reform will have to go in such direction to re-vendicate the borg AND collect more $ from better motivated public,

  present (?) spiritual and future paradaise (carrot) does not motivate anymore.

  They have the right org infrastructure, training and human resources for the job.

  How did you feel when you learned it was all a lie?

  bit of background.

  i grew up as a jw i left the church when i was 14 because a ministerial servant who was conducting a one on one baptism study with me said that i couldn't ballance my dreams of being a professional singer with the so called "truth".

  i stopped the study and told my mom i no longer wanted to be a witness.

  Sorry... knowing that a large group of family members and old frriends were traped and nothing i could effectively do to help them.

  "Waving" (with CoC book at hand) "on the fence" just waiting for the first sign of anyone in the circus arena siginaling that needs help..
