  pending tragedy for the wts and jws.

  the heavy-handed tactics of the leaders of the watchtower society have begun to bear rotten fruit.

  i suspect that it is just a matter of time before the need arises to coin some phrase to describe disfellowshipped or disassociated jehovah's witnesses who bomb conventions, shoot up kingdom halls or even attack bethel facilities.. leaders of the wts (and local elders) should stop and think about the lessons to be learned from columbine high school, the postal service (i.e.

  Are you isolated, mentally in a island? No punk intented, just to paint a clearer picture:

  You have been on this board long eunough to be aware that several posters have insinuated that even themselves are wiiling to cause similar damages. LE is not the first to mention such a probability, and as he repeated he was advising for the benefit of those who may become target. Violence produce violence.

  To stop worrying, just tell your "close relative" to stop going to KH and/or DO SOMETHING to stop WT selfdestructive regulations and actions. Unlees you agree with the way wt is handling the whole thing.

  In that case be willing to reap the consecuenses.

  They will feel good about "scriptures", profecy being fullfilled on them.

  fathers day is coming up and this will be the first year that i will be getting my dad the card and a gift .

  i mentioned it to someone and they acted like i was commiting a sin.

  so what problem do the jw's have with this holiday ?

  Never been there.

  Over there they are still keeping some stuff from Cristopher Colom i guess.

  Actually the Judicial system in Lousiana inherited or are still keeping the spaniard tradition. But i hope child molestation reporting is mandatory, at least.

  (the great apostate, can you believe it?).

  technically, they were here to visit my kids and husband, as i am df'd [8>].

  LDH i have watched that movie before...

  It is much better if parents learn the "truth abouth the truth" from someone else other than their own children...

  Fights and hurt feeling are hard to cure.

  And the fact the even if they learn "the truth about the truth" from someone else the may stay in th wt. But at least in those cases you notice the difference in the way they treat their df children after "learning" (but not acknowledging). They dont feel nor have the phisical and mental energy to start all over, put on their shoes.

  in just under 2 hours, argentina and england will square up to one another in what promises to be the most interesting match in the world cup so far.. argentina are predicted to win.

  to those that say that most jw's are windowwashers(due to no higher education), well you're wrong.

  some are carpet cleaners, grease monkeys, pizza delivery boys, bread delivery boy, drivers, hair cutters, carwashers, toilet cleaners.... hey wait a minute... like the allmighty homer j. simpson said "dough!!

  Here is some CREDiTS

  Broadcast stations, among the first one WBBR ?, a poster's father was the chief engineer

  printing factories, really fast ones

  MEPS (computer hard and soft to do translation long beofre the PC was available.

  Quick buildng projects, on a week end!

  All of the above requires some dedicated slaves near the top doing some serious thinking.

  But most adquired the skills BEFORE becoming jw then helped wt to accomplish projects

  Most assistans just follow directions, even window wahsers can do it..

  Lawyers are something else, college teach them to question everything. Not many become jw, unlees they are loosers or sick.

  WT lawyers seem to be loyal, second generation or above, choosen bethelites.

  Who knows what kind of contract or agrrement they have to sign before wt send them to law school... so wt trap them real good...

  AND who knows what kind of law school they send them to. In house?

  I cant imagine anyone going to a TRADITIONAL law school and then go back to work for wt, unless... read above for a hint.

  another day in israel, another terrorist bombing kills 16 innocent civilians on their way to work.

  another day where the critics of israel are silent in the face of the violence and hatred of the arabs.

  If you are an USA citizen you can NOT serve in ANY other militay system.

  Guess what,
  you can be USA citizen and still, openly, allowed to serve in ISRAEL's military sytem... the only execption in the world that i know of.

  *** "I remind you that the Muslim population doesnot recognise the existence of Israel as a nation so obviously you can't have citizenship in that which you don't recognize as a nation...kind of spooky if you think that's possible."

  USA took Puerto Rico in 1898 from Spain, easily. A very low population at that time i imagine.

  Just 19 years later (1917) UNILATERILY they made Puerto Ricans USA citizens.

  So USA could use them during WW-I as soldiers, no other explanation available so far.

  Around mid century USA pulled out all english speaking teachers. The school system went back to spanish speaking. That way you could have USA citizen who could not speak english properly unless they figure out some other way of learning the languaje, with no money to pay for private school, very difficult.

  *** "Puerto Rican citizens have many of the rights as American citizens, without paying the same taxes! "

  Puerto Rican are USA Citizen BUT unless they move to an INCORPORTED territory (any of the 50 incorporatedstates) they CAN NOT VOTE for the USA president. They are free to move. As soon as they move back to the Island they loose the "privilege"... it does not make sense.
  About 4 million live in the Island, another 4 million closely related live in the "states".

  As far as tax is concerned USA have MILITARY bases all over Puerto Rico, FREE.

  Navy Atlantic Fleet is trained over there, the largest training center, live bombing practice etc etc. (I used to test the Navy microwaveradio communications network). No other state would allow the kind of military practice done there.

  USA corporations can get stablished over there and NOT pay taxes to no one including FEDERAL tax. Special USA approved deal.

  On the 21 centruy you have USA citizen who CAN NOT vote for the president, there must be a political reason. And so much for constitutional rights.

  104 years later PR should be in better shape, socially, politically and economically, who do you blame?
