  would you rather date an overweight woman who has a beautiful face or one who isn't overweight and is just plain ugly.

  how about a woman with a few curves, say about 20 lbs overweight or so for her height?

  For all you PETROL & GAS whiners. Stop complaining that it's too expensive!

  here in the uk we're paying over a 1 a litre for regular unleaded fuel, that's about $9 per gallon for my american friends.

  now i'm as aware as anyone that the bulk of my fuel pound goes to the government in duty (or fuel tax) but let's just look at the bottom line cost to you and i as motorists - 1/litre.. just getting the the damn stuff out of the ground is dangerous and expensive, especially at offshore rigs.

  then you have to transport it, refine it and transport it again.

  hilghander, "BTW, which hybrid or electric vehicle do you own? " just thinking about the hyghlander, but I am radical, will switch from gas to totally electric or alternative fuel, period. brentr, i will get carried aways, sorry... 1 - who wrote the wikepedia you quote or linked? I wont bother to check. 2 - how many miles will it take for the engine to breakdown? [for using hydrogen], needing to be replaced. 3- do you know the the cure to such a problem?, if it really is a problem... or at least have you research about solutions/ 4- is the problem, if proven, so big that we should forget about hydrogen? 5 - why spacraft [NASA] have always used and still used hydrogen as fuel/ 6- Did you know gasoline is mixed with lubricants to prevent basically the same problem you are referring to? 7 - finally did you know engines could be disposable, replace every 2 years lets say and still save money along the way. 8- whats your background and who do you work for? 9- did you know the final solutions is the electric car using fuel cell powered by hydrogen, no combustion [cracking] to worry about. 10- did you know the electric motor is the most efficient, practical "engine" and that you can no live without it?, check your refrigerator, washing machine microwave, fan, electric shaver, pc, printer etc, why some of those appliances do not use gas engines, but electric motors, anymore as they used to.

  sirnose586, whatever that means 1- did you mention a "truck" ?, just about any vehicle will loose against a "truck" 1.1 - how many times have you had a "truck" accident? 2- most accidents can be prevented, defensive driving 3 - I beleive in probabilities, so never buy insurance for just about anything not required by law, never a regret so far. Just make sure what you would be paying for insurance is saved, just in case... if nothing happens, you gain. I dont even beleive in SS. 4 - for the above stated reasons, or lets say because of your reasoning, IF I were you I would move the hell out of california... you know why, dont you?

  highlander [sp?], my favorite hybrid vehicle so far is the toyota highlander [sp?], not the prius btw prius is kind of expensive compare to a suzuki, but i am sure I could get a hell of a mileage from it, 1- by preventing the gas engine to come online, except when i command it to do it 2- by going around with a long power cord... you can modify any hybrid vehicle to [EASILY AND SAFELY] recharge from any ac outlet. I beleive is standard feature now on some hybrids. Prior to that hybrid manufactures did not want to upset the oil companies AND the electric power companies.
