  recall his great youtube presentation with nugget as the charming voice.

  DING DING DING!!!!! Critical Witness & Fat Freek. I have been saying this to the Mrs for a while !! YES!!

  I had friends and family serve at Bethel in the late 40s, 50s, 60s, and I was there in the 70s. Bethel -headquarters had a number of men " who had the GIFT of singleness"....ie no burning desire for female companionship. Instead some of these ones who did "not quite fit in" in home congregations prefered guys, a FEW prefered children. Over a period of many years some of these rose to positions of power in the Borg.

  For those of you who remember the 60s, many a sister was told she was "not scripturally free" if her husband ingaged in homosexuality or bestiality, because THAT was not adultry. Anything other than the male organ in the female organ was "loose conduct"....hummm why the double standard from the GB ?

  We have only to type in the search box here to find many of these accounts about Governing Body members and accusations of child abuse.

  The end of the year is only six months away. I think it will look the same....but more seeds of doubt have been planted. Coffee breaks, and phoney time will increase. Some active ones will count time talking to us on JVN :). 2013...Smart phones will continue getting cheaper and more common. Search engines will bring people to all the various Anti Borg sites DAILY. The wind will slowly be taken out of the most sincere JW's sails. Since the Candice's win, hundreds of abuse victims are remembering what happened to them and they are discussing their pain with best friends, parents, and ATTORNIES ( 27 million....can you imagine ANY attorny NOT dreaming about a case like that? ). Perhaps the governing body will have to scrap the move to upstate New York and move to the Caymans to survive all the suits.

  i mean you probably have the connections but can't post these names because of a betrayal of trust even though you might be regarded as super apostate in the bethell circle of friends.

  i was a witness for the first 25 years of my life and i always thought that the wt mags were written by the fds.

  I have been calling around and speaking to people. I could be wrong, but it appears Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood, and Discovery Bay all attended the same hall in the 70s-80s. Some parents left in a huff because adult on "tween" sex was handled as "consensual" and never reported to ANYONE as child molesting. At least one perp was appointed an elder. Any JVN members attend that hall?
