  Why has the WT not tried to shut down this board?

  we all know that beth hell monitors this site.. they have repeatedly had sites shut down for quoting large portions of their litterature.

  not this one.. do you think this board enables them to keep a finger on the pulse of what is going on in ex and aposto land?

  the wall street journal reports that india has again made a decision to buy 42 russian sukhoi su-30 mk1 fighter jets that will be assembled in india.

  additionally india will buy 71 m--17 v-5 helicopters.

  another deal was signed for russia to manufacture the ka and mi brand of helicopters in india .

  Curious...Does India manufacture ANY high tech equipment?

  I have only seen crude machine tools, TATA wooden trucks, and some crude bikes. Much is to unsafe/crude to be imported to the USA.

  Yet whenever I go to a University or a Medical Center I meet smart HIGHLY educated Indians. The individual people- vs- the entire Country has always struck me as odd. The Brits set up most of the government systems, and it is a democracy with public education..yet the country seems so dysfunctional.

  This weeks stories in the NY Times about police corruption and and gang rapes...just incredible.

  Authentic & Real Police Blotter from our Area about a JW

  even though this is a real police blotter report recently from our local news about a jw i just had to post it under " social/jokes & humor " as it is pretty hilarious !.

  here is the news clip : " 8:47 p.m. - a woman from the 200 block of -------- way reported she is a jehovah's witness and her parents started talking in tongues and chasing her.

  pretty weird, huh ?

  .....some of the things he did and got away with , to me now is unbeleivable , and maybe to you.. in all fairness he was well versed in the bible and very clever how he used it to put a critic to rest at the doors and in one instance when i was witnessing with him , he demoralised a pastor of his church .and i was impressed at that time.. but he had some strange ways , he was always looking for someone to break gods laws so to speak .he did set himself up as the policeman for enforcing gods law on the congregations .

  ( this is my description ) he was known to stand outside bros/sis.

  homes to see if he could find something incriminating against them .

  EVERY HALL I have been in 10-20% of the Elder Body was NUTS. Either a little excentric (ok) or on a "MISSION FROM GOD" (dangerous).

  Actually the weirdest guys I have known are either City servants, or striving to be one. Always brown noseing the Circuit and District overseers. Marching around like Adolf Hitler, and Volunteering everyone and everyone elses $$ ...anything that might bring attention to themselves. Extreme examples of small man complex.

  One City Servant was a nudest at home...with 2 teenage daughters. Another went around giving talks about "white shirts" only on the platform and made talks based on "Dress for success" business dress codes (he was a drunken janitor by day). Another ran around the house in boxers with the fly open and his ##!#! hanging out with visitors.

  Weirdos....yes....lots of them.

  One strange old guy recounted how he loved to "roast Japs" in ww2 with his flame thrower...and grin........ during the bookstudy......

  Another spoke of how WTBTS is to hard on Pedophiles.."Jesus died for them too". He once got on all fours at the hall and bayed like a donkey.......

  An ex-cop who thought he was "Phineas" and would stop the plague on the congregation by rooting out "hidden sins"and spearing them! ... he loved to surveil fellow elders and JWs..and would spend countless hours on "stakeouts". I hear he has gotten into electronic methods lately..wacko.

  I think many base too much on Literal translation of old verbal traditions. They had an interesting show on Nat Geo or the History channel last week about the clovis people and human migrations.

  Seems 10-13,000 years ago during the last ice age sea levels were 100-200 ft lower according to some scientists. I imagine if a great great great grandchild asked what happened to GGGGrandpas village gramps might have said it was underwater..because of a great flood....and off to races he went with a story.

  Or perhaps a guy had an awesome boat with all his goats and sheep during a major flood on the Euphrates. Who knows..but obviously a REAL Global flood did not cover the world like Watchtower insists.

  Hell, if I had lived on the Jersey coast in 2012 and a grandkid said..Grandpa what happened to your house...I might say.....A great flood came and swept it all away....
