  Humm. Complicated subject. I would find a study of Nordic Countries facinating. They went from rape and pillage throughout europe in the middle ages to peaceful prosperous countries. Same with the Germans and Japanese in modern times.

  I understand gun control advocates position, having lived in US suburbia for many years...but I also understand the pro-gun community now that I live in rural america where one county is the size of a small european country...with only one deputy 30 minutes away..with Biker gangs and Mexican Cartel members growing pot, and cooking crank in the nearby hills.

  seems that a stalled wall street tax inititive in the usa has supporters in the uk calling for a robin hood tax, which would tax stock transactions as small fee on every sale.. .

  Depends on the situation. Few parents seem qualified however. It may also leave the student without normal social skills.

  i haven't attended the meetings on a regular basis,since about 2008. a meeting period in about 2 years.. .

  probably 6 months ago i ran into a brother, whom was working at a local grocery store.

  he was making a delivery as a vendor,somehow we got to talking,religion came up and he found out i am a jw, though i told hime i no longer attend.

  Police in my neck of the woods take 12-45 minutes to arrive for a 911 home invasion call. We had a couple of Elderly people shoot intruders a couple of months ago. The entire incident was recorded by the 911 operator 22 minutes before the police arrived...to collect the guy's body.

  does anyone here have any suggestions on handling financial abuse of a senior by the watchtower bible and tract society?

  mom gave a lot of money to the watchtower bible and tract society over her lifetime- (6 figures).

  after she ran low on funds she made a 5 figure "conditional loan" to wtb&ts.

  The attornies advice to wait and have the state take on Bethel is the latest. It can set a precedent as well and unravel some of the "charitable giving" scams being pushed by WTBT$. This way we are not out of pocket $$ or anymore time.

  Well I agree 100% with Cedars. The picture is creepy. Why not just go ahead and put Molech on that throne?

  This photo combined with the new baptisim vow, songbook with more mentions of the BORG than Jesus, and the request for halls to remove "Christian" from signs..stick me with a fork...I'm done.

  Does JESUS Have Wings?

  the jehovah's witnesses believe jesus is an angel.

  they also apparently believe that angels have wings.

  jesus was a spirit being before he was born, we're told, and he was resurrected as a spirit (even though jesus insisted he wasn't a spirit), then does he still have his [ring bell] wings?

  HELP ! Can anyone find a better famous WATCHTOWER illustration of Molech (WT mascot of child molesters) than pg 74 of the Paradise Book?

  artistic members i am looking for a better pedo mascot illustration of molech from a wt publication.

  i remember as a kid seeing page 74 in the paradise book and asking mom- "how could anyone sacrifice a child for a religion" -she would say i don't know..it is unthinkable.....sadly i now know..
