  imagine that your heart went out to all those poor people who suffered when fukushima blew up, so much so, that when an internationally renowned charity asked for donations to help those in need, you donated $5000 to the cause.

  I was aware of the assembly Hall fraud. I got into trouble for questioning the fraud at a Circuit elders meeting.

  The Hurricane relief is a new one to me. Wow..the greed never ceases to amaze me. These guys stay up nights comming up with new scams..almost like "Gypsy Travelers"..(Sorry Gypsies).

  If the roof only needed a repair, a re-roof sounds like FELONY insurance fraud to me. Was the adjuster in on the scam..a JW adjuster..? Sounds like felony Insurance Fraud to me..with RICO enhancements. Some California RBCs use a JW Inspector.......hummmmmm

  You need to send this to IKEA.

  3d/4d "printing" from what I have seen is just advanced CAD/CAM with extra hype... from what I have seen so far. You can now send advanced 3d blueprints by email to companies that will do a plastic machining or wax injection prototype for you the same day. They can turn that into a plastic or metal part and fed-ex to you the next day. You can go from idea to finished part/setting/prototype/casting in about 72 hours with no equipment for under $100 from halfway around the world. Years ago people carved wax, plastic and clay models by hand..some still do.

  This guy is talking about nano tech..much more advanced...and expensive.

  All my JW friends dont like me.

  they keep pretending to be my friend, and then i get word that they actually hate me.

  they have even slandered and said i not worthy to talk to.

  then of course, there are the rumours... needless to say, i am pretty depressed..

  well i'm sorry i've been absent, it's been a rough few weeks and still having to work....i ended up having a nice happy surprise by having the day off, so i'm finally going to get caught up on things.. .

  april 1st was my 6 months of not reporting service time and i am officially inactive now.

  i think my hubby and i are going to celebrate!

  Depends. 6-12 months usually..IF you seem Truely repentant. If you were not deemed to be "devious or calculating" originally...and the original elders don't have it in for you. I wouldn't waste a speck of energy trying until 6-11 months had passed. Make requests with dated letters. State you have stopped whatever it was, are heartsick, and have made ammends to any "victims". Send a letter every 3 months.

  Are you sure you want to waste the time and bow to a cult????

  Send your family a copy of the letters..often they will turn on the elders after the 2cd letter doesn't work, and communicate with you.

  i have an aquaintance that likes to say, "once an a hole always an a hole".

  i guess you could reason that whatever your religious views were, your core is you are who you are.. did your personality change for better or worse when you left the organization?.

  Less judgemental.

  Less dogmatic on everything.

  Swear a tad more.

  Chip in on community projects and fundraisers.

  More relaxed..i actually get 8 hrs sleep..no midnight calls..long ass elders meetings...meaningless parts to prepare.

  More money. Less $$ buying "meeting clothes" and "field service gas".

  Elder and MS Extortion!

  the elders and ministerial servants at my hall were asked to attend a strange meeting last night.

  the society is asking for our help to raise $10,200.

  they are seeking to raise this money in april from elders and ministerial servants in our circuit only.

  Exact amounts like that in the past were to buy trailers and cars for Circuit Overseers. They later did away with that. Perhaps the C.O. needs something and the local brown nosing city servant knows it is not kosher..the reason for secrecy.

  We came up with similar amounts to buy Suburbans that could tow trailers for C.O.s in the past. One for a trailer. Had a cousin who was a C.O. did that to get trailers..his wife HATED staying in peoples homes.

  so i've been pondering that there must be quite a few active jws out there who are conscious/awakened/lurking, but it's so risky to ask questions to find out they are.

  i'm sure this isn't anywhere in the watchtower, but i've read that early christians had the secret symbol of the fish to help identify friends, i.e.

  drawing a fish in the sand would secretly identify someone as being a christian.
