If the remains of Noahs ark was found it would prove Noahs ark. Now that is fantastic! Would it prove that entire globe went under water, no.

The comment of the above writer that it may have been a localised flood but a huge one is a good contender. This being the bursting of the black sea over all around the region. But it would be a great find.

Petrol here is 1.66 a litre. I have my health and a life. I am generous to all and perform random acts of kindness I have a family and just two grand kids. These are the things that fill my mind.

i learned a time ago that the 'what ifs' can ruin your life and the wts thrives on 'what ifs' not doing acts of kindness....

Scriptural rebuttal of the "two witness" rule relevant to JW child abuse policy - Timothy Kline article

former jw timothy kline wrote an excellent article in 2002 that examines from a scriptural perspective the watchtower society's "two witnesses" requirement applicable to child abuse allegations (called "part 1" but there appears to be no further parts).

the article shows there are certainly alternative interpretations available to the watchtower society that would allow them to easily adjust this flawed aspect of their policy while still adhering to scriptural principles.

me- i didn't make it out (actually i haven't been out on a sat morning in months).

Ask her about creation and ask or mention our human biology and the wonder of it all mention 'clitoris' in your next stunning conversation and wait for the silence.

or you could hang back and phone her a year from now and see if the script has changed.

if i mention it frequently, it is precisely b/c as a witness, i had no access to it.

when i was told someone by a brother, there was no way to evaluate it.

In my city we have the internet, lots of newspapers, TV, radio, an excellent library indded the whole range of modern public communications set up.

What is peoples conversation? other peoples relationships.

Recently at a coffee shop I moved away from two mature age women as their interest was all about some other souls divorce. What moved me was the line, "..and do you know what I heard.."

Heard! Its the same in the truth but with 'rules' about who you can talk too, how they dress, whether they are..etc etc

So if someone were moved to seek information and research one of the gospels say and then be able to describe the life and times better (Im not saying ...change..! anything) and if that person were to speak out in the KH with this new knowledge they would be viewed at an angle. If they persisted they would be reminded not too etc.

A rather lovely sister and genuine of soul said to me "we miss you and your answers." Well i always tried to use my brain and my life has given me much experience but everyones 'answers' must be in accord with the wts dictates. and that is underscored with a distain for scholarship..

I have just bought a new bible in the ESV version i am keen to start reading it too.

A story from South Africa years ago. A guy answered an ad to buy a Ford Fairlane in new condition low mileage and some rediculous price say$420.

He went to the house in swish part of town and found the seller reclining on a sun lounge at the back. He saw the car and it was as said.

"Er, about the price $420. Is that a misprint?"

"No. My husband cleared off with his secretary. he phoned me to sell his car and send him the money"

So our car buyer drove off perfectly legally in a near new fairlane for $420.

Dreadful. Frightening. sad.

I fear a rebound from the world whether the Un or whatever is coming that will impact on the average jw who has nought to do with this spiritual treachery but those in charge will run.

And yet they ask for donations to rebuild my ex KH. Perhaps i will give them 30 pieces of silver it is i believe still the going price on treachery.

Jesus said when given a denarias "Give the Ceasar that which is ceasar's and give to God that which is gods"

while growing up in my jw family, i was proud to stand up for my beliefs.
