  That the callees in the US dont know about the CARC is not surprising. Its been my experience that unless 'it' happens in the US then people in the US dont know and dont wish to know anything about..'it'.

  There would have to be an inquiry on the scale of the CARC to be undertaken in the US.

  As the JW make up only apx 1% of people in each state of the US tragically an undertaking on the scale of the CARC will never happen there.

  The Australian Government has failed to get the WT to sign on to the National Redress Scheme to compensate victims. If the govt were to threaten to remove the charitable status of the wt in Australia they would soon sign up.

  Of all these type revelations I have seen the cops lose it when people argue back and keep arguing until they get clobbered or dropped to the ground.

  • If a cop flags you down keep in mind you have no idea hm shifts he has done (undermanned)..
  • and the shit heads he has dealt with.
  • the mangles bodies in car prangs he has had to extract..
    
  • and one things to keep in mind if he is a a veteran of years or a young new boy he represents the law of the land you call him SIR....and dont get all self righteous
  • and think calm...

  I read the experience of a young Dutchman who was "invited" by the nazis to work for the Reich.

  On his few hours off he would walk along a railway line and there he met a station master a lady whos husband had been killed earlier in the war. He did odd jobs for her and he would wave to the trains of people troops going this way and that. One day a train came in for a stop and there was a festive atmosphere about it.   personally i think it is 1914 and the following " this generation " doctrine.. this particular doctrine went right against jesus's own words of " no one knows of the time not even he " .

  he also admonished his true followers to not set a time upon god's own sacred time .. the leaders of the wts even back to the late 1800's set a time calculated on their own theology 1874 being the first time set and proclaimed by c t russell, also proclaiming 1914 would likely be the year of the final day of judgment armageddon.

  all throughout the 20th century the wts held to this doctrine but was eventually revised of course when it was realized this generation had passed away who saw the events of 1914. .

  it felt so good to read a card from my youngest son today.

  it was a funny card about duct tape and cussing.

  it was a day of joy for me being it was my first fathers day card from my son since he and his family left the cult.

  spiritual 'pharisaical legal text' makes you 'accountable' if you attend a jw 'judicial committee'.

  'regular' jw's attending a 'judicial committee' automatically and without realising it, both admit to a 'wrongdoing' and 'subject themselves' to jw .org-inisation 'elders'.. it has also been well-documented that jw .org is 'coming after long--term inactive ones, that are causing 'divisions'.. there is a greater emphasis being put on 'shunning' those labelled with 'apostate' (behaviour).. the 'slanderous' naming and shaming of (former) members who have questioned the jw.

  org-inisation is relentlessly being propagated in both publications and their gatherings, such as their ironically named 'love never fails' 2019 convention.. ironically, the scriptures they often refer to such as the one at titus 3:10 the original greek word hairetikos, which is translated to the the word “heretic,.

  Christine.. is 80 has been a jw longer than most of them have lived.. she has humble heart but an inquiring mind and that is what rattles them.

  as some of you know by now, i spent sunday, 7 august, renewing ties with a dear friend.

  we're both disfellowshipped, the difference between us being he is seeking reinstatement and i am not.

  we got into some very spirited discussions on different bible topics and one of them was the value of the new world translation itself.

  Were did I read that Wescott & Hort were into the occult? and the wt based the nwt on their writings?

  Was it TIME magazine that did a front page interview with Franz? Does anyone have a copy of that a link perhaps? It is heresay that the journalist who did the interview said later Franz was completely whacko.

  Me? I read the KJ its archaic english slows you down and you have to read not skim..thanks Jason..
