I recently read (can/t remember where), that 75 percent of JWs suffer from some form of depression. Pretty high statisics. I for one could write a book about my life and the severe depression I suffered. During therapy I learned that we are not to blame ourselves for what others have inflicted upon us. The truth is much of my depression was the direct result of a terrible marriage, a husband who lied decieved and made me look like I was crazy. It is true that I mentioned I suffer a erratic brain pattern, closely associated with epilipsey.
My heart has been lifted up knowing that I was not responsible for a rotten marriage and fanatical parents who didn't allow me to be who I was. I was not always a JW. as our family converted when I was 13, my father was an alcholic and a mother who was neurotic, and dabbled in the occult, so some of my depression began as a young girl. Being in a violent home contributed to my intense emotional disposition. And as I said before, any time you wish or anyone for that matter who would like to chat just email me it is on my profile.

Logi; I love you but some people do need drugs in order to survive because of chemical imbalance or erratic brain wave patterns. I know if I could do without drugs I would throw them out in a minute.

dearest friend: I feel your very anguish throw the screen and yes I can indeed relate to depression. I have suffered with bi-polar depression since I was 19 yrs and I am 50 yrs old now. I have been treated with every concievable medication on the market. I even had bio feed back treatments, they did nothing for me. But I have had the best therapists throughout these many years I was in theraphy since I have been 25 yrs old You name the medication I've taken it.It took several years to hit on the perfect mix if you wish and I have never been as happy as I am now. I take the drug EFFEXOR 150mg. TRAZADONE 300mg for sleep due to pain in body the effexor is the anti depressant, and 1.5 mcg of Ativan , anti anxiety drug. These are excellent drugs. The drug EFFEXOR doesn't leave your drowsy or tired. However the Trazadone should only be taken at night as it is stroner and relaxes you, I have fibromyagia and this is a good drug for that, because the pain is less when you get a good sleep and the Ativan is anti anxiety, which many suffer from , Stop and think about how much crap you have had to put up with in your life, We need to think about keeping our mental health in check. If you have been through a trememdous strain because of leaving the org, that in itself can be a great amount of stress. Do you have a good doctor. Perhaps speaking to her/him they can work through it with you. Finding a good doctor and therapist is paramount to getting better.
I have been through so much myself. I left the org after 38 yr and ended a 28 yr marriage all in one day. And that was two yrs ago and I am healing and feeling like life has taken on a whole new meaning. Please feel free to email me any time. Wishing you well. take care.

i told her that he was on the verge of being banned for his loudness and his appalling rudeness to the landlady.

ISP I wasn't trying to be a smart ass or anything like that, I am truly sorry about your aunt, Yes smoking is a bad habit but when I smoke it is at home or where there are places designated for it. I always ask a person do they mind if i smoke in there area and if they say no then i don't.
I respect peoples wishes.

Everything we breathe in is polluting our bodies. I am all for smokes pipe, and cigars and of course hummmmmmmmmmmmm. I love it.
so if I die young at least i did what i wanted to do. I am FREE you know.

why so much?

i carry hard feelings towards them and their teachings but, i have been seeing many negative attitudes against jehoavh himself.

Jehovah is the name of God we all agree, even other denominations use His name, Nothing will change that, and yes the org. is what has angered us, not God's name.

Ouija boards
by jolly_green_giant ini'd like some feedback from any of you guys who've used ouija boards.
i havent tried yet myself but plan to sometime in the near future.
most people who i talked to that have used them said they've usually got negative feedback from the spirits.

You seem to think that I was joking, well I am not all I am saying was that my mother felt it was satan as she like everyone else has a visual of a creature with red eyes and horns, that is what she saw and it could have been a demon, yes i agree, my mother was intensely strange. In our home apparently like many JWs she needed to get rid of things that were an approach to the demons. You know cleaning away objects and stuff like that out of our home.Under the stair well of our house we had a cooler that was given to us by a women who also dabbled in the occult. When my mom was attacked by the demons in a sexual attack she had a bed spread that was also given to her by this other women. The spirit in our home was very disquieting to say the lease. The cong. we were in the brothers decided to place the book study in our home and they felt that this woould relieve the uncanny things happening in our home. Many times the brothers came over to pray for release of the demon influence. Like I said ,this is not funnyor a joke you'd have to be there to understand what I am saying. Iam just grateful I am out of the org. Just to many wierd things went on, that is all I was saying. Yes my mother was a phyco.PROCRASTINATION IS THE THIEF OF TIME!!
