i'm pretty excited because the premier of my travel magazine is now on line.
i still have a few things to add to it such as the panoramic photos.
other than that, everything is up and running.. i welcome any suggestions that you have but please be gentle as this is my first time.
Two thumbs up Robdar, I like the lay out and the pictures are very nice, I was in Alabama in 1969 and 1970 and I thought it was beautiful and I believe all the southern states are truly gorgeous.

i have heard this from jws many times.
they say that when the whole congregation is corrupt it is clearly noticable that jehovah's spirit is not with them.
eventually if the whole congregation is corrupt the gb dissolves the whole congregation.. jws say this as if it were from personal experience.
Back in the early 70's my Uncle who was an elder in a small Ontario town of Little Britian, I believe it was called the Manilla congregation at the time. Anyway this pervert Uncle of mine (Which I am ashamed to admitt is any blood relation to me)sexually abused his young daugther my sweet cousin. This uncle of mine always gave me the creeps, anyway the cong. was having problems big time fighting, decreasing in meeting attendance, service decreasing etc. etc. as my father who was his brohter and they were very close my dad and him said things were terrible in the cong. My uncle was blaming all the elders for the problems in the hall. Well as it turned out somehow the elders found out my uncle was sexually molesting his daughter, I am not sure if she told or if his wife found out and told, but whoever reported it, the damage was done to the congreagation too, and that cong. was dissolved. Some were sent to Lindsay Ontario, and I think Port Perry. Anyway my uncle was disfellowshipped, and he went to prison I guess he confessed to the who thing. To this day I have no idea what ever became of my dear cousin I always remembered her as a sweet young girl and I guess she was terribly affected by what happened to her, and I wish some day I could find her, she had a brother too. I OFTEN WONDER IF SHE IS ONE OF THE SILENTLAMBS!!
I never knew what happened to that uncle of mine after prison, but he did show up at my fathers funeral in 1995 and I never spoke with him as he is still disfellowshipped and at that time I was still in the org. And the freaky thing about this uncle was he looked so much like my father. So yes the WTBS does dissolve congregations.
i was thinking today about all the time i spent on the ministry.. walking down the street with my suit and briefcase ready to defend the truth.. i recalled some of the conversations i had , had.some of the bible studies i conducted, the talks i had given the groups i had taken.. i remmebered the way i defended my faith and belief in jehovah and the jehovahs witness organisation.. how much i must have believed it was the truth.. i spent 3 years as an auxillary pioneer and called on many thousands of people.. yet all along i was wrong.. every time i defened my beliefs i was wrong.. every talk i studied and prepeared long and hard for, i was wrong.. all the things i gave up for the truth i was wrong.. what an idiot.
Had I not decided to go with my heart,and leave my now exhusband I may have never found out the things I have learned since leaving the organization. Over the 37 yrs in the org. I spend seven yrs vaction, later auxillary pioneering and regular pioneering. Went to serve where the need was apparently greater, and worked my ass off. I lived in a pioneer group some of the girls where spawns of evil hell bent on making your live miserable. Gossip oooooooh gee, gossip like you never seen. I have seen cliques. dissention, anamosity back biting. I have seen people hurt and people depressed and suicidial............. Good grief how long was I an idiot for?
I have seen me go in the ministry in 100 temperatures and had my legs bleeding from the chaffing of panty hose, because sisters "were not to go out in the service without pantyhose on because if you did it was a bad example for the sister in the congregation" I have preached in blizzards, been nearly killed in a car accident, because the brother was a jerk and had faulty brakes on is car and he knew that and we almost went over the Champlain Bridge in Montreal on our way in a blizzard to an assembly. "IDIOT YES", that is way is say today that HINDSIGHT IS 2O/20

I appreciate everyones input, I got some real good answers and it is interesting that info on Rutherford and Russell, and Beans my sweet you always out do your self in you logic I love it and I can't tell you how wonderful all of you are. i just got off the phone with jim whitney and he is still in intensive care, due to be released to home by the weekend.
the poor guy did not have insurance, so he is going to be busy working on that angle as well, since he had a major heart attack, and need probably a quad bypass.
the doctor told him "this is as bad as it gets.

The pictures are great but the LAMB ON THE DOOR WAS BY FAR THE MOST POWERFUL STATEMENT OF ALL.

recently a poster left here, shortly after i found the reason why.
while listening to this person i could not only hear the feelings of raw pain i could feel them as well.
this hurt.. for this person exposed them self on the forum as a silentlamb not only for support, camaraderie, friendship but also to share their own thoughts and views.

eu has noticed that a number of persons making up this forum are guilty of showing disrespect to jehovah's witnesses.
some refer to jws as 'hovahs and others talk about kingdumb hells, all the time professing to follow christ.. some may justify their rude behavior by saying that jws themselves can be rude.
even if the charge is true, and eu is not really convinced that it is, why cannot ex-jws rise above the fray?
