  I would have walked over to her and said, oh I see you have your bible and the watchtower magazine there, I guess you are a JW's , and then her ears are all perked up and then you say, I always knew that JW's were no better then any one else and you just proved my point. And with that turn around a walk away with your head up high.

  this evening, i received the following email unsolicited from a jehovah's witness who mass mailed me this garbage.. .

  subject: contempt for the flag?.

  the next time some jehovah's witnesses interrupt your dinner, you might consider thanking them.

  we all know how the wts works and how they have built up a clever lebelling system which they can use to prevent having to address the real issues.

  JW's not identifying themselves?

  i had a visit this morning from a couple of older sisters from a local congregation that i'm not terribly familiar with (i don't live in the territory for the congregation that i was raised in).

  anyway, i didn't have the balls or energy to question them about the usual things (recent dateline, etc.

  ) because they were these sweet little old black sisters that really reminded me of the witnesses at the beginning of "friday".

  I personaly feel that for years that the WTBS have been reluctent to use the name Jehovah's Witnesses. Isn't there a scripture that says if you become ashamed of me( JEHOVAH) I will be ashamed of you? For years the Society's policy and C.O &D.O. said we should not be hasty in telling people you are a JW. and WHY?? Beats me, couldn't figure it out especially if we are suppose to be proud to be called JW's .

  what brings a smile to your face?

  i cant help but smile when my wife laughs, or when my kids play outside.

  i also smile when my boy, who is 15 wants to talk to me.

  Nothing makes me smile and melt more than having my wonderful husand Marco smile at me from across a room and he throws me a kiss. ohhhhhhh I just get weak in the knees.

  I smile when we drive around the lake at late evening an sit at the edge of the beach and watch the sun set and we are holding each other. I turn to mush.

  I smile when I wake up in the morning to his arms around me and he his holding me tightly and smiles and I wish this moment will never end.

  I smile when my best friend loses at scrabble.

  I smile when she wins a backgammon all the time

  I smile at the girls in the dart league

  I smile at my son who is the sun shine of my life

  I smile when my step daughter and her family call me mom and grandma.

  I smile because I love life
